Bought this to give me access to our hot water tank, which is behind the sheet rock wall. The door is very easy to install and is a good quality. Only complaint is that it should be easier to open. I have to use a penny in the slot to snap the door open. It is a smooth face with slots to open it. Overall, I gave it five stars because it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and works good. Gives plenty of room. Before you buy, I would make sure that you buy one large enough as this is the second one I bought since the first was too small.

The inside frame is just about 1/2 inch thick so worked great for my situation since I only had 1/2 drywall space to work with. I sealed it to the wall with silicone caulk and taped it snug for 2 days ro dry. Sits flush.
