Quality materials
We wear size 6 shoe and bought small. It appears to be ok and maybe a tad tight in the toe area. We are not sure going to the medium would prove too large. Seems to hold the ankle well enough with the metal supports on both sides. The Velcro is quite strong and holds securely. We bought due to 2 severe sprains on the same ankle and now surgery on the same ankle for nerve damage. We feel the metal bracing will help from rolling this weak same ankle.

Excellent Quality and Support
This is one of those easy purchases that you almost completely forget about, because it's so trouble free. But the real value is in the wearing. I had sprained my ankle pretty badly playing soccer and was almost reluctant to get back out on the pitch. The AirCast A60 was recommended to me by my physical therapist. I ordered it from Amazon just two days prior to game day, and it arrived in time. I took it out of the box on my way to field and put it on just before the match started. It went on easily, but did make my boot feel a bit snug. I instantly felt the extra support that my freshly recovered ankle needed. Just a minute into the match I found myself running full tilt, and realized how well it was doing its job. This brace is so light that I only knew that I had it on because I was conscious that it gave me as much moral support as ankle support. After a couple of weeks back on the team I'm considering not wearing it anymore because my ankle is feeling pretty good. But, this brace is so unobtrusive, I think I'll keep the moral support for another week or two. I certainly recommend the AirCast A60 as a great buy.

No Ankle Support
First off, the way this package was shipped by Amazon was deplorable. The box was crushed, had obviously been opened (possibly numerous times and most definitely a returned product), the brace was carelessly thrown in the box in an unsealed plastic bag. It gave me the creeps that someones skanky foot may have tried this on with no socks. But onto the product review. I tried thin socks, I tried heavy socks, the ankle support was just not there. I'm a size 7.5 so the small was my size. Everything wrapped properly but there was a gap on the sides of the brace and it didn't feel snug against my foot/ankle. My hiking boots provide more support than this brace. Returning and will try elsewhere.

Worth a try
After dealing with an old ankle injury for years, sprains have unfortunately become a pretty common occurrence for me. I’ve tried a handful of braces over time, but the Aircast A60 has stood out—especially compared to the previous model I used. The brace is surprisingly comfortable, even when worn for long stretches of the day. It offers a secure, stable fit without feeling bulky or restrictive, which is something I really appreciate when I’m trying to stay active without aggravating my ankle. Most importantly, the A60 provides solid protection and support whether I’m dealing with a fresh sprain or just some lingering bruising. It keeps my ankle aligned, reduces the risk of rolling it again, and gives me the confidence to move around without constantly worrying about reinjury. Overall, it’s a reliable, well‑designed brace that does exactly what it promises.

After trying six different ankle braces this is the one which works for me !
I love this ankle support! Of the five different ankle supports I've tried this is my favorite. With partial paralysis in one leg and foot I had trouble finding a support brace that would keep my ankle from rolling but still allow me to raise my foot up. A molded cast type brace, an Arizona Brace, which was made for me but it was too restrictive. This Aircast A60 Ankle Support Brace is much more comfortable than the Bauerfeind Malleoloc, which worked for me but was difficult for me to put on ( there are rods in my spine so I don't bend much). The Aircast A60 goes on like a sock (albeit it does require a bit more tugging, especially at first) and I can fasten the Velcro straps myself. Such wonderful independence to not need help! The other ankle supports I've tried are; a simple black elastic Velcro attached ace bandage sort of thing, Aircast Air Stirrup Universe, and a Mueller Lite Ankle Brace. These just let my ankle slip around in them or didn't offer enough rigidity. A McDavid Ankle Brace with strap which laced up did not give enough support either. The Bauerfeind Malleloc held my ankle very rigid but was bulkier and impossible for me to put on by myself. Even though one of the reviews for the Aircast A60 said it wears out quickly I figure I can buy five of them for the cost of one Bauerfeind Malleloc. Plus the Aircast A60 is much more comfortable and easier to put on. The first few times you put the Aircast A60 on it is tight and a little difficult, plus the Velcro is VERY aggressive and someone else had to help me get out of it the first time. But it soon 'works in' and comes on and off without too much effort. I'm very grateful to have found this Aircast A60 solution to my particular needs.

Just OK.
The sizing is a bit off. I wear a size 13 (US) shoe, so I bought the larger brace according to the sizing chart. Well the brace does't get as tight as I'd like it to around the upper part of my ankle. It is great around the lower ankle and heel. Also the plastic support on the outside has worn through the grey mesh after roughly 10-15 uses playing volleyball. I am very disappointed in this. Were it has worn through is higher than my show, so it is the brace that has worn through itself. Overall the brace provides good support and mobility for playing volleyball and everyday use. I think that I will go for a little more support and less mobility for my next brace though.

Get Back in the Game!
I bought this for a teen basketball player who sprained his ankle during a game. The brace advertisement says it offers light support. It goes on easily over the foot and secures around ankle with a Velcro strap easily. It has semi rigid sides to help support the ankle and keep it from rolling. After a period of rest, treatment, and exercises to strengthen his ankle, the teen was able to comfortably resume playing basketball while wearing this brace. It goes on over a sock and will fit inside a sneaker. It’s also washable. Perfect for an active athlete who doesn’t want to fuss with a lot of tape or bandages but needs the support. Great product.

Highly recommended
I am 70 years old and have serious back issues that cause me to have limited walking mobility. Walking is not fun. Recently I was fitted with orthotic leg braces that help significantly with this. I had hoped they would also help me with biking too as I ride my mountain bike regularly, around 30 miles per week but unfortunately, with their flat piece design along the bottom, the orthotic braces made biking very difficult, instead of better. I did some further investigation and discovered these a few months ago; The Aircast A60 Ankle Support Brace. I bought two and quickly realized they were perfect for biking and improved my riding dramatically. My ankles never try to “roll” outward and I am much sure footed. I also use these for yardwork including cleaning rain gutters on a ladder. I highly recommend the Aircast A60 Ankle Support Brace, and will buy them again as they wear out. Be patient as you become familiar with these. No disappointments. The only downside for me was having to buy a left and a right brace from two separate venders.
