So pretty
These are exactly what I was looking for .... they are beautiful and there are so many lights on one string ... bonus, you get two strings for such a low price!! They are super easy to install because they wrap them around a plastic card so you just unwind as you go. This is the first time I have ever used solar (don't judge) and can not believe how easy it is ..... I don't have to do anything, they just turn on and off all by themselves. The only reason I gave them a rating of 4 on the brightness is because one of them goes dim (not off) towards the early morning hours. I will be ordering more. **UPDATE** So the one string of lights that goes dim towards morning time actually does not ever shut off. I recently figured this out after replacing the battery a few times now. I can see them twinkling during the day if I look real close .... but this means the photosensor is not working properly and it does not allow the solar panel to save battery life, so it burns out within a few days and I have to replace the battery again. I'm hoping someone can tell me where the sensor is so I can replace it OR the company will send me a new one in good faith. I really .... really like these and I do want to buy more, but I can't afford to keep replacing the battery if the sensor's keep failing.

Update: Did Not Survive First Rain
It seems the issue was not the rain, but the lack of sunshine for about two days. After the lights dried out and we got sunshine again. The lights are back working just fine. I thought this product was rated for outdoor use but both sets failed after our first rain. Money down the drain. :(

Little fairy lights
I purchased is not too long ago so we are sitting at March. I put them in my window just to see how well they work. They worked great I can’t wait to take them out and put them all around the inside of my greenhouse. I know it’s gonna look fantastic at night.

Great, but solar panel lasts just over a year.
We use these lights along our backyard fence and the trunks of our two palm trees. Very attractive landscaping effect in the evening. These lights are bright enough that they can be used as Christmas outdoor lighting on homes, windows, etc. They last over 10 hours on a full day of sunlight charge. The only drawback is that the solar panels degrade over time. So when they do, I just buy another set and use only the new solar panels, which I wire into the existing lights. The fairy lights seem to last forever. Mine have been up for over 4 years and still work well, just need to connect a new solar panel to them when needed.

Such a great quality!
Love my lights- they stay on til 5 or 5:30am. My hillside oasis looks so pretty & festive with all my new lights. Bought a 2nd set as I was so pleased with 1st set.

One of Many
I, like many, did not have the greatest experience with these lights. I read reviews and saw a lot of people had forewarned their tendency to break, but I also wanted cute lights to wrap around the pillars outside of our front door. My goal was affordable and solar powered, as we don't have an outlet readily available for the location. When I first got the lights they wouldn't turn on, but I put the solar panel in the light and they turned on. It was a task to install as the end that is readily available around the spool is the end connected to the solar unit. That means I was working from the bottom up, which is counterintuitive to me. Either way, I got the lights wrapped around the pillars and went to turn them on and the first night I was very impressed and really loved how they looked. They turn off when it's light out (I think?) and then the night hits and the solar unit fires up the lights, so I was excited until the next night when one strand didn't turn on. I tried to get it to work but no dice. I took the lights down and decided to continue to experiment. Unfortunately there was just no consistency. Both strands stopped working within the first week despite trying to charge the solar panel. There are also different settings for the lights that didn't seem to change well when I was using them. A part of me loved how they looked so much that I thought about keeping them to try to get them to work, but I knew I didn't have time, and that I just needed to bite the bullet and buy a higher quality product. The return was, of course, easy, but I am still on the prowl for my solar lights for next year.

Cute, warm-white lights, perfect for our trees. But 1 strand of 4 has a broken "mode" flaw
New and out of the box for a couple of weeks, they are performing well, but there is a flaw in one of the strands, so I cannot give it 5 stars as I would have liked. Mom is elderly and doesn't like the idea of wires in her yard or spending electricity on X-mas lights or anything she doesn't have to. So, I was looking for a simple way to decorate her yard, and was hoping for a solar solution without wires. These are exactly what I wanted. There are two strings in each package, with 2 separate solar chargers attached and two stakes to hold the charger. They are easily angled and placed in the dirt. The strands are pretty long and we were able to cover enough of 2 mature dogwood trees to be noticeable. (See photo, which is enhanced the iPhone camera to make the nearly pitch-black outdoors seem like dusk: No it was dark.) The lights are not super bright but are noticeable. They are pleasing to mom and she seems happy to have them. The wires seem to be coated copper wires and look flimsy but they held up fine as I wrapped them around the trees. They come coiled around a flat plastic "reel" and there is a plastic film on the front of each solar charger that needs to be removed. The charger has a notch that slides onto the stake. The are different kinds of "modes" for the lights, steady, fading, blinking, etc. We preferred to just have steady-on but that seems to drain the battery faster. Because, one of the controlling devices has a flaw. The "mode" doesn't change -- I click on it and the lights just go out. Hitting the power button off and on and the change-mode button just keeps doing the same thing. I cannot fix it no matter how many times I tried. Something is wrong with the unit and would prefer to have it replace because it looks kind of dumb to have always-on lights and one of them is blinking and fading like a rogue decoration. Other than that one problem, I really liked these and think that, if they last for a few years, they would be worth the money. I don't know if I'll take these down or just leave them up.
