A great and good looking threader, although after heavy use it separated. Glued it back together.. It is constructed so that it has stayed together working well. Would not be without it.

After breaking several of the cheap needle threaders, I decided to invest in one that would actually last. I use it primary for threading yarn into tapestry needles for needlepoint and it works great. Very sturdy.

I love how the yarn threads so easily through my darning needle now with the help of this threader. No more wetting the yarn to make it go through only to have it split up anyway. This works each and every time with ease. It is pretty too with the antique looking design. Every crocheter should get one of these to make threading yarn a quick simple task.

I do lots of crochet and with that comes the time to weave in the loose yarn. I had a very cheap basic yarn threader (the thin wire connected to plastic holder) and it worked for a bit but it did not take long before the wire would pull out of the plastic and I would have to try and fix it to use it. I knew I needed something a little more substantial if I did not want to drive myself crazy. Thankfully I found this Clover Yarn Threader. It is like the tank of yarn threaders. I has a nice metal holder with a swivel out metal yarn threader. The fold out metal part is plenty thin to fit into a yarn needle eyelet and as it is more substantial it has no problem pulling the yarn hard through the needle. I have used this with multiple projects and it just works great. The metal housing is solid and provides a nice place to grip as well. The only issue (if you want to call it that) is that the fold out part is rather stiff and can be difficult to pull out. Also when folding it back in, care is needed as it is easy to bend the metal as it is thin. If that got bent it would not be as strong and could be an issue. As long as you are aware of this though it is fine and works well. If you crochet you should get one of these for sure.

Click to play video I love the design and the antique closure part of the threader, and the intent of this device, however the flip out threader part has a lot to be desired and the thinness negates the functionality of the device. I would like to suggest that even titanium or stainless for this part of the device so that does not constantly bend. it constantly bends and does not stand up to pulling it through the eye of a yarn needle and the more you use it the more it does not go back into the Antique holder! Thank you

This product is very sturdy and beautiful. I couldn't find any yarn threaders at my local yarn stores and am glad to have found it online. It works as expected. It is well worth the price and will last for years with care.

This makes threading yarn or even sewing thread so much easier!! Hate getting old

Incredible thing! No trouble threading yarn though a needle anymore. I only wish I could attach it to a keychain.

Small, very sturdy metal threader. Beautiful and will last a lifetime, no doubt.

I got this for my crochet projects as threading yarn through a bigger darning needle is an absolute pain, so this functions brilliantly for ease of use. It's perfect, it fits nicely in my little crochet tin because it's compact, it's well made and sturdy. It's not too thick, just right the size, easy to use and for how it looks it's good value for money too at £7, well worth it. Would definitely recommend.
