Broke after two weeks
I am using this to control my elderly mother's access to certain numbers, because she has early stage dementia. She is harassing people, and I have to make it stop. This device worked for two weeks, then quit, for no good reason. Now, I have more problems than I had before. This device is ruining my life.

Does not work as described
This unit will block the call AFTER it allows the call to go through, then it hangs up. We tested it with 911 being blocked and unfortunately the police showed up. The police got a "hang up" call and to be safe they dispatch.So the outgoing call will ring the called phone at least once.We called HQTelecom on 10/13/14 and they confirmed the problem and said there was no fix.

May be issues with your actual phone line on incoming calls
Device worked for blocking outgoing calls. Problem is that it does not allow incoming calls to ring through.I tried to work through the company's posted possible trouble issues but no go. Called company but individual that I talked to did not seem to have a real knowledge of problems with the equipment.

Works well. Wish there was some dynamic programming. Make one error and you have to start ALL OVER. Also the call is blocked, but only after a ring, or even 2. No complaints. It does work. Just a little clunky. Seems a bit over-priced.

Does the job
I'm a business owner and honestly I don't mind if my employees make outgoing calls. My bigger concern is the outside vendors, visitors, whatever, pick up one of the courtesy phones in our lobby and do something sketchy. I can block frequently abused area codes, or else I can block everything and give people the bypass code for legitimate uses. Nothing fancy, but does what I need it to. Recommended.

cumbersome, high priced, no technical support, save your money
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT- no number to call for support- directions very confusing, picture diagram of how to connect shows a connection not consistent with the device -impossible to connect the way they show it----the devise has no port on the end they suggest you connect. High price for something that will totally frustrate you - it tried every which way by the convoluted directions and never could get this gadget to do as it indicates- Buyer beware!
