Ahmad Tea Ceylon Tea - 500g Loose Leaf Tea

I’ve bought this green tea twice now, and most of the time my wife drinks it. She’s really happy with it—says the flavor is just right, not too bitter. The leaves are nice and full, and it makes a great cup every time. I also like that it’s loose, so she can brew it exactly how she likes. Definitely a tea we’ll keep buying.

Nice tea and tin

This was my first pack of loose leaf tea to try, I'm fed up of tea bags. I have no idea what Darjeeling tastes like, and I just pluped for this based on price and reviews. This is a delicious, flavourful brew. I don't like strong tea - well not builders' tea anyway, so, using an in-cup tea strainer type thingy I steeped the first attempt for 3 minutes. Tried it without milk - I always take milk in my tea. Ugh. So I added some milk - much better but too weak and thin tasting Then I noticed the instructions on the tin said 5-10 minutes, so next time I tried 5 minutes -much better. I have now settled on 4 minutes for a well-heaped teaspoon or leaves in an in-cup strainer/brewer The actual leaves are something to behold - great, big quality tea leaves. I am impressed. The canister is nice - it's solid and the lid fits well, but now I've got one I don't need another - so I'll be on the look out for a box next time

Decent Ceylon tea that doesn't taste bitter or burnt. A 1lbs brick of loose tea for what is basically pocket change. Can't beat that. Some reviewers commented on the flavour not being strong. If you prefer a really powerful tea then try Assam or just add a bit more tea to your brew - don't steep for longer.

Out of all the Ceylon black teas I have tried, this is so far one of my most favorites. Leaves are high quality, fragrant and beautiful, the tea comes in a great size and for a good value. Lovely aroma and a great flavor, much better than bagged teas (and I've had a great many bagged tea brands through the years). Also works wonderfully in homemade Masala Chai recipes!

i drink this tea every morning and it is the most classic green tea taste you can get. it’s potent so i wouldn’t use that much if you don’t like the bitter over powering flavor, but if you do, it will give you energy and better than coffee, in my opinion, without the inevitable “energy crash.” i feel full from drinking this and sometimes add MCT oil and honey and i have energy to go about my day and don’t have to eat breakfast, if you’re looking for a weight loss perspective. i love the amount of tea you get, the cost is worth it 100% i will repurchase this high quality brand.
