These are truly permanent
As a person working in a lab, we constantly need to label our sample tubes and they have to be regularly sterilized with alcohol. Most permanent markers are not alcohol resistant, which leaves a smudge on them if not covered with tape. Sharpies give us the convenience to use the tubes directly

Just don't go for it
Very disappointed. As the saying goes Naam bade aur darshan chhote. Ink already finished from half the pack ( just some daily lab usage), Camlin lasts longer. The writing goes away easily from plastic surface (resulted in confusion for crucial samples). Buy steadler, Camlin etc. instead
