Must have if you wish to raise a reader. Interesting book for kids. My little one loves it. Brought this when he was 6 months old. Loves to hear me read it and look at the pictures. Has his own way of narrating the story using different sounds.

I first bought this book 30+ years ago for my son and whilst looking for books for one of my grandchildren I was amazed to see it is still available. Whilst mum is away the baby bird leaves to nest to look for her and comes across many things on his journey, each time asking "Are you my mother" until finally he does find his mum. It is an engaging story which young children (and mums) love
