Victron SmartSolar Charge Controller (150V 70A Tr)

Excellent product and a great price. Still works flawlessly after one year of service and no issues.

When I opened the package this charger controller looked and felt like a sturdy and quality product. When I connected it however there was absolutely no charge going to the batteries despite the controller getting input voltage from the solar panels. After days of troubleshooting and frustration I discovered that the black jumper wire was loose. Tightened that screws and the controller started working like it should. Been working great since. The Bluetooth connectivity is an amazing feature. Being able to get the readings from an app is amazing especially the 30 day report which lets you keep track and compare the daily performance of the solar system. On good days I get over 2KW from 2 x 300 watt (total 600 watts) solar panels. It also tells you how long of each stage (bulk, adsorption, float etc) daily. I have Battleborn lithium batteries and was able to program the parameters right from my phone. Pretty convenient to connect and monitor the controller from inside your house. Only downside is everything you open the app it has to reconnect. It’s pricey but worth it. Victron is a reliable and quality brand.

Victron chargers are quality products. I have half a dozen of various sizes running off grid sites throughout the valley and they all just work. The Bluetooth makes checking their statuses very easy.

When you’re going to upgrade for more input power, this manufacture is a leader in technology. Slowly rep[lacing all my OEM equipment to Victron. Great heat sink for those days when the sun is really pushing the current through your panels

Everything made my Victron has been excellent. Their products have worked very well in my RV electrical system and when it came time to add solar panels to my RV, Victron was the only one I looked at. This has VE.DIRECT port on it so I was able to purchase that cable and integrate it into my Cerbo GX device to get a full picture of all incoming and outgoing power. Very versatile, easy to install, configure, and update firmware via the Bluetooth. Highly recommend.

Victron is simply the best

This is a replacement for a blue sky charge controller i was using in my RV. This thing is built like a tank and very heavy duty. It was very easy to install and works great for over a month so far. The Bluetooth and corresponding app are awesome to be able to check my solar history from my phone and i also bought the plug in meter so i can also see exactly what’s happening at a glance. I liked this so much that i bought 2 more for my solar powered work trailer. My only regret is not having upgraded to this sooner.

Nach MPPT100/20 und MPPT150/35 ist dieser Laderegler der nächste Schritt in Richtung eigener, ergänzender PV-Stromversorgung mit 24V-Akkublock. Es sind 4 Panels mit je 405Wp angeschlossen, die max. Spannung liegt an manchen Tagen über 145V (und bisher immer unter 150V). Ich beabsichtige bei U > 145V eine zusätzliche Last parallel und bei <145V wieder wegzuschalten. Die Parameter habe ich so wie bei MPPT100/20 und MPPT150/35 eingestellt, ich betreibe Blei- und LiFePO4-Batterien parallel. Die aktuelle Stromabrechnung ist nun weiter gesunken, bei einem Netzbezug von erstmalig unter 1000kWh/Jahr.

Very safe and secure, I trust it to safe unattended operation for long periods. Very high build quality. Passive cooling makes it totally silent. You need some reseach or understanding about what type of battery you are charging to effectively use this product. Superb app to controller unit via BT.

ich habe inzwischen alle PV komponenten von victron und ich brauch mir keine sorgen zu machen dass ein gerät abraucht oder mit lautem knall den geist aufgibt. ich empfehle diese produkte jedem weiter der was gscheites haben will! ich habe jetzt noch vom 150/70 auf den 150/85 gewechselt, hier habe ich ein kleines Manko entdeckt, das aber für die wenigsten relevant sein wird: der 150/80 verursacht deutlich mehr (HF) Funkstörungen durch die Regelung. ich würde mir generell eine bessere Filterung dieser Signale an den Ein- und Ausgängen wünschen. Die Gesamtbewertung sehe ich dadurch nicht beeinflußt, da das Gerät das Beste in seiner FUnktion ist, das ich je verwendet habe.

Buono ma dopo l'aggiornamento non va piu errore #119 e le vacanze sono andate al diavolo, con il camper senza fotovoltaico per un aggiornamento, ma si può vendere cose del genere sul mercato??
