This is an adequate fluval filter replacement and great priced compared to name brand. I don't know why easy to clean is a category here...THESE ARE DISPOSABLE...through them out when they need changed!

Great replacments, but you probably wont ever need it.
I bought these thinking that I would have to replace them someday. I probably shouldn't have because the bio-screen on the Fluval C series is very durable and made to last! Rinsing it out works very well and so far I have noticed no deterioration whatsoever of the bio-screen. It's a good product, but you can probably save your cash and buy something else you'd want or need.

Bioscreens help to keep my cichlid tank balanced for months
I use these screens and only change them about once every 6 months. They help my tank bounce back quickly if I over clean and through off the balance of healthy bacteria in the tank. I have only done this once, but believe that this screen help to save my butt, because it is one think I am careful to not touch if I am cleaning the gravel or other filter parts.
