The don’t taste like mints at all. Just like a plain sucky candy. Edit- I changed to a five star because even though I did not like the mints the seller contacted me and gave me a full refund! Great sellers and great experience.

Best tasting mints I have found yet. Starlight is the absolute best. Spearmint is my favorite but I feel sure any flavor by Starlight would be good.

My favorite Spearmint brand is Bachs. But since their Spearmint is only out at Xmas and I found these, I can't tell you how excited I was to find this product. Yesterday I put a handful in my small bag I carry on my saddle. I leave my house and I decided to open one. Well I drove two blocks to my turn onto University Drive while trying my darndest to twist open one side. Lefty Lucy - Righty Tighty!!!!! I tried the other side. I drove a half a mile still trying to untwist this candy!! I enter the 202 Freeway and was still trying to twist it open. I tried one side then the other side. After a couple more miles I finally got this ca ndy open. Good Lord, after all that aggravation I couldn't wait to put it in my mouth. Well, this Spearmint candy has a very muted taste of Spearmint. So much so that had I been blindfolded, there would have been no chance at all to tell what the flavor was. I couldn't even tell if my life depended on it. So I meet two friends to go out on a trail ride on our horses. I told them I was going to give each one a piece of Spearment candy and I was going to time them. They both said they love Spearmint. So......let the game begin. Started the timer. The first friend got her open in about 15 seconds. But my other kept working on hers and 1:47 seconds later she finally got her opened. We figured the first friend got one that accidentally didn't get twisted 400 times on each side. Both agreed it didn't taste of Spearmint and also were disappointed. One said we should use it at a baby shower for a game. So we will blindfold each guest so they won't know the flavor then whomever gets their candy open first will get a prize and the one that takes the longest will get a prize too.

I love these. They live in the car for when I need something. They stop my cravings for expensive coffee and help with indigestion. They also stay fresh for a long time never had any problems even in the summer they don't get too sticky.

I guess I needed a fix. Opening the bag, strong spearmint odor, double that of Dollar store brand. One mint only lasted three minutes with holes forming; 90 seconds of decent spearmint flavor. Mildly sweet. Loose in their wrappers. Quality substandard to Brach's brand 20 years ago, last time I tried spearmint; nostalgic.... just not enough to buy a 4 lb bag.
