Ease of Use
The kit is nice an d complete, with very well illustrated instructions on how to terminate CAT5 / CAT6 cable onto RJ45 connectors.

Doesn't live up to promise
Bought this crimper thinking it would save time when making patch cables. Even after quite a bit of practice, it takes a significant time and effort to cut the sheath in the right place and line up the wires so they go through the plug in the right order. Overall, it takes about as long to create a patch cable with this crimper as it does for a regular/traditional crimper. Considering the price, you're probably better off just getting a traditional crimper.

Good connection every time
Platinum Tools feel solid in your hands. I really like the EZ jacks from Platinum. It definitely speeds up making cables and haven't had any issues with connections being made.
