Moultrie 325 Deer Feeder Tripod, Choose Model

This is the second of these feeders that we have purchased. Our deer love them. I have had as many as 11 deer at this feeder at one time. And two young bucks fighting over it! Not much scattered on the ground. No noise from an automated feeder motor. Unfortunately a couple of bears also enjoyed it and used the feeder as a beach ball rolling it down a hill. Most of the feeder survived but one key part broke. Thus the need for a replacement.Easy to set up. You will need a small step ladder to fill it.

The size and durability of this item is great. Less trips into the feeding area during the season because of the large capacity.

The dispenser doesn't throw out corn very far with its 6V battery, but the entire set up is very nice, and functions well. I love being able to refill the feeder without getting on a ladder. I have had NO PROBLEM with water leaking in the corn container.

Easy to assemble, to fill, and deer to empty. Is great for 'animal tv'. Easily attached a solar charger.

When these go on sale they are they best bang for your buck hands down. My favorite feeder.

A good feeder. It's worth the money.

Dont buy this. It will most likely disappoint you.The main problem with this feeder is the six volt motor is not powerful enough to spread the feed any distance.The motor is also not strong enough to start spinning . The corn resting on the spinner below the funnel can block it from spinning. When it does spin , all the feed basically falls below the feeder in between the legs.Overall quality is good but the weak motor defeats the purpose of this feeder.Im giving it two stars for overall quality but the capacity of the 6 volt system to spin the feed out or even spin at all is not good.Ive tried two different brands of fresh batteries, Duracell and EverReady with no difference and Ive adjusted the funnel above the feeder as directed. Not good. Thumbs down. Buy something better.
