Accurate monitor
Comfortable and very accurate. I checked heart rate on this device against pulse measured directly, and it was very accurate at all levels.

Very good function.
Very good HRM. 24 hour battery and 12 hour memory puts it leagues ahead of other similarly priced HRM, also reads HRV. The Scosche app is also very good. Much prefer it to my Polar OH1. The only downside is that it's a big chunky.

great concept arm band HR monitor with basic FLAWS
Purchased this device after a lot of research. It is the only arm band HR monitor that I could find that is bluetooth and ANT+ standard WITH onboard memory to record the workouts and not requiring a smartphone and/or a watch. - all this is a PLUS for its features. My main intent was to use this device during my swim sessions to monitor my heart rate.TWO NEGATIVES#1) The saved files time stamp are way off. For example, I swam at 6pm to 7pm. When I went to sync, the time stamp showed aS 12:30pm. This gets very confusing as earlier in the day, I did a different activity and recorded that too. I am unable to distinguish what HR is for what activity.#2) when HR is seen on apple health, I had 106 HR recording for a given minute. Seems this device is recording HR every 1/2 second. Wow, that's a LOT of data gathering. I certainly want to know what my heart rate is but not so excessive to a point I find my self scrolling endlessly, just to the what was my HR just 30 minutes ago. Imagine the number of entries to go through if I wanted to scroll back several hours.Spoke with customer service, they weren't aware of excessive HR entries being created but the incorrect time stamp issue is related to firmware. Hopefully, they will address the excessive HR entries, either through firmware and/or their app.Given this product is relatively new so I can expect some bugs but I am surprised they (R&D or QA dept) didn't see fix the incorrect time stamp when importing data. If I am not mistaken, another reviewer pointed out the incorrect time stamp issue as well.I liked so many things about this device, but for now, I will return this device. It is not quite ready for my needs. Perhaps, at some point down to road when all the kinks are worked out, I will consider purchasing it again. For now, I will go with a chest strap. Those are tried and true for delivering the data I am after.

Reliable heart rate
Reliably gives your heart rate and can pair with other apps (I tested it in the adidas running app) aside from its own app. However aside from heart rate, it seems not to have any other features.

Great alterative to a chest strap; great customer support; better than the Polar.
Original review (2018): Really like this so far. I got it because it was annoying to wear a chest strap when biking. I wear this when riding outside or on Zwift or when checking HRV in the morning. Fits comfortably. Doesn’t slip. Seems to track accurately. Once it read very high initially but settled in quickly after i adjusted it on my arm. Haven’t had any of the problems referenced by other reviewers. The iOS app is fine but i only used it initially. I ordered 2 more for use in other locations.Update (2020) : I now own 4 of these for use in various places. I will never go back to chest straps again. I've used them road biking, mountain biking, and on indoor trainers & treadmills. They are reliable and last. I disagree with reviewers who say they aren't accurate or have dropouts. I've never had problems with either issue. If there is a drop out it is usually due to poor positioning on the arm (user error).Out of the 4 units that I have, one recently failed after ~2 years of use. I think it was a battery issue as it crapped out on a ride and then would not hold a charge (although the charging light blinked). After a few tries it wouldn't even show the charging light. I emailed Scosche via their website and they responded within 24 hours. They helped me resolve a firmware update issue with another unit (user error again; I stopped the app midway through a firmware update) and then, after I sent a requested video of the unresponsive unit, they sent a replacement which I received in a matter of days. I was super happy with the customer service accessibility and response. While waiting for the replacement I had tried a Polar OH1+, but I don't like it compared to the Scosche. The Polar is smaller & lighter but it is less comfortable as the strap presses the small circular monitor into your arm instead of being even and spread out like the Scosche. The Polar charger, while small and simple, is fiddly and easy to lose. The battery life on the Polar is 50% of the Scosche's as well. I'll be sticking with the Scosche.

Scosche HRM
I have had several Schosche HRM's both the R+2.0 and the Rhythm 24. I prefer the 24 because it has a visual battery level indicator which I find very helpful. I do not use their app, just review HR data on my Garmin or Wahoo devices. I find these products work great...until they don't. The R+20 is very reasonably priced but mine have not lasted as long as the 24's. I keep going back to Schosche because the other units I would consider, from Polar and Wahoo, are significantly more expensive and many reviewers have problems with their longevity also. So I'm just accepting that every couple years I will need to replace them, expense is manageable. Earlier models of the 24 had a poor design where the arm band pins sit in the case. I broke a few of these just simply sliding the band on or off my arm - and I don't have big arms! New models seem much improved, so they are lasting long enough to quit working. I use these exclusively for cycling, either on trainer or roads and trails. They synch easily with Wahoo app and Garmin computers. Don't know about other gym equipment.

Compatible with peloton products
so far the BMP reading are accurate and match the readings on my Garmin watch. bought this to use with my peloton products. connection to peloton is easy and battery has last multiple workouts without being recharged frequently.
