where are these made? (country origin?)

Small 7 ounce cans say Greece and 4.4 LB can Bulgaria (which I did not realize until ordered both elsewhere last winter). I have not noticed material difference.

How many are in a can? Having a party for 50 people with other foods of course and need a ball park. thanks!

Huh. Hard to say. A LOT. If this is a small side dish for a party of 50, I would play it safe and get four cans.

How do I perserve the left over grape leaves, after I open the can??

refrigerate in Tupperware. This brand is the same used by deli's and grocery stores. They last a long time I have ordered this size can and brand several times over the last couple of years high quality product.

Do these freeze well?

Yes, in my experience they do freeze well. I put about 12-18 of them in a small plastic freezer container that doesn't leave much space empty. Then, to thaw, I leave them in the closed container in the refrigerator til thawed.
