DOMETIC Sandy Low Chair Midnight

Bang on, just what I needed, went camping for a couple of nights in a small pop up tent, this was just the right size so I could sit outside but when the inevitable rain (it was July after all) started I could sit inside the tent, a normal chair is way too tall so I would have to sit on the floor but with this low chair I could sit reasonably comfortably inside and watch the rain fall while I drank a couple of beers and chilled. Yes I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a low chair for camping and i guess it would also be good for the odd fishing trip too. Not the lightest chair but sturdy and seemingly well made and surprisingly comfortable too.

Nothing but good things to say about these little gems! Bought 4, all sturdy, all working well after 5 trips out. The red and blue are darker than pictured. The yellow is bright. Shame they don't offer more fun bright colours like orange or lime green as they feel like fun almost pocket sized comfy picnic must haves! Perfect on the beach, easy to fold and bag back up - fear the bags won't last as long as the chairs as already popping a few holes but will use a yoga mat strap to transport them once the bags fail. Overall, great value for money and surprisingly comfy and sturdy! Love 'em!

Compact, comfortable and well made. I’d read it was made from steel, as opposed to lighter but less durable aluminium, so is heavier for the size, but by no means heavy. Sat in it for about 6hrs and it didn’t dig in or leave me sore.

Replacement for same chair bought 10 years ago! which has finally rusted. Sturdy, well made, practical and uncomplicated chair. The simple design has outlasted 2 more complicated( and expensive) beach chairs my partner has bought. With exposure to sand and salty air, hinges etc will be stressed, so keep it simple. I highly recommend this chair.
