Love this cup!
This has now become my everyday cup. Prior to this, i had a ceramic mug with a "manly" touch to it. it was my favorite mug until this one. I recently started getting more into bushcraft and i saw that bushcrafters would normally use a kuksa, but i just wasn't feeling comfortable using a wooden mug for my everyday beverage consumption. So...i looked up a synthetic alternative and came across this, and I'm glad i did. this cup is actually made of natural plant fibers and resin, and it's biodegradable, so it technically fits the overall theme of bushcraft. Another cool thing is that when you have a hot beverage such as tea or coffee, the mug will insulate you from the heat and it's safe to touch. it's also very durable, and just very cool. Plus, it comes with a little teaspoon, which i wasn't expecting. Now, it is on the small side so if you want something that can accommodate more of your beverage of choice, they also have a larger size. Overall, i give this item two thumbs up. It is on a pricey side as far as mugs are concerned, but compare it to a kuksa, it's actually very reasonable. Plus, this cup i think is durable enough that it will last you for many years. i highly recommend it.

lives in my pack now
I love this little cup. I used to be a "one pot" purist in the woods, everthing from coffee to mashed potatoes cooked and eaten out of the same oversized mug, but this thing is small and light weight, and I don't really begrudge the room it takes up in my pack, and it has alot of character and is really a pleasure both for morning coffee and evening scotch or wine. It's one of those things like a good knife, a well broken in pair of boots, or a walkingstick with alot of miles on it that makes no sense from a UL backpacking standpoint, but will become a trusted friend and something you can't imagine heading out without.

Kupilka Cup
I like this cup. It is a fun item to have in your kit. If you are a traditional bushcrafter who prefers a wooden kuksa then you probably wouldn't like this cup, but if you're more modern then; Pros: easy to clean, dishwasher safe, will not absorb odors or flavors like wood may, won't easily crack or break, nice old world style kuksa with modern practicality. Cons: I think a little pricey for a cup, has a faint odor that does dissipate after a couple of weeks, cannot be placed anywhere near a fire like a metal cup can be, so not a versatile in that respect.

Great Camping Cup
I bought this cup after seeing one being used on Youtube. I know that may sound lame but it was highly recommended in the video. It also looked cool....and is Finnish. We all know, if something looks cool and made in Finland AND seen on Youtube it must be good. Right...that's what they say right....don't they? Anyway, I had been in need of a drinking vessel of some sort to take camping for quite a while. I almost bough a standard aluminum cup but after seeing the Kupilka cup I changed my mind. It seemed like a more fun option. HEY, metal or thermoplastic impregnated with wood fiber as to give a cool "wood" look, which would you want? So I went out on a limb and bought two, one for myself and the second for my brother - he thought it was neat as well, and I am really glad I did. Aside from being a great gift, the cup is lightweight, perfect size for a cup of coffee - or tea...or water...or hot chocolate...you get the idea - and again the looks are pretty cool. The cup insulates quite well and you won't burn your hands when you put hot liquid into it. Rather, it nicely warms your hands when it's cold out. Kupilka cup works equally well for oatmeal or other cereal type food stuffs. It's a little small for a cup of Ramen, but as it is quite lightweight you can always bring an aluminum cup along to put over a fire/stove for soup cooking needs and not add too much extra weight. The little hole in the handle is perfect for a small paracord lanyard, leather strap or anchor point to wrap the handle...with paracord or leather. All in all I've found it to be a great addition to my equipment list. I'd recommend Kupilka cup for anyone looking for a unique piece of kit. I wish I could write more...but it's a cup. It holds liquid - hot or cold, I like it, I recommend it, it arrived in two days with Amazon Prime...oh and it's dishwasher safe. Buy away!

Great niche item.
Absolutely amazing item...if you have a reason to own it. I got this for re-enactment and LARPs (hah!) where atmosphere-correct cookware that looks the part, is washable, and doesn't burn your hands is the holy (literal) grail. The Kupilka Cup fills these needs, looking at home on any pirate's belt, Viking camp stump, Colonial Militia table, or other fantastic setting. Has maintained looks and washability through 4+ years of hard use, including multiple instances of being rolled over on rocks by a large man in plate mail, dropped, tossed in a trunk with coffee dregs still inside, and generally abused. I don't really know why you'd buy one of these instead of more conventional wares if you didn't 'need' the looks, but you have the reason (or just the want) it's exactly as advertised.

eh, not what I thought.......
It's a nice cup. It looks like a kuksa, kind of. I seen a lot of good reviews on it playing it up. It looks plastic, like there is no wood in it at all. It gets hot when hot beverage is in it (unlike some youtube reviews have said). It is very difficult to pack because of the handle that sticks out. and if you want it for a traditional bushcraft look, well it isn't that. If you are not getting it for the traditional look, there are better options. So in conclusion, I would not recommend.

it feels like the plastic/composite its made of
it feels like the plastic/composite its made of. it looks pretty rustic. Its a bitbigger than a tea cup, smaller than a regular coffee cup. The spoon is teaspoon sized For what it is, its very nice. Its a cute gift for the hippy in your life - or the treehugger in you I like it and will probably buy more for gifts

These are ridiculously expensive because of shipping, but if you want one that's the price you pay, I did.

The texture of the cup and the curve are just perfect. Feels good whenever you drink. But only one thing to be aware is the color of the cup will change either darker or lighter.
