Dowsing for Beginners: How to Find Water, Wealth & Lost Objects (Llewellyn's For Beginners, 15) Paperback – January 1, 1996

I am new to dowsing and this was an easy to read and enjoyable book. I've seen it done many times but never understood the "how" it works. There is a lot of information in the book on the different aspects and ways to dowse which i found very intersting. After reading this i wish i knew someone who was an avid dowser so i could learn more. Books are great but you can't beat one on one interaction.

Purchased some copper Angle rods; absolutely stunned they work! I am able to see exactly where all my underground electric wiring is located. I would recommend this for anyone.

I bought dowsing rods from Amazon and was pleased with the purchase. I knew how to use them but decided some additional information wouldn't hurt so I bought this book. It is a complete history of dowsing...interesting because it tells of rods being depicted on cave walls from thousands of years ago. So now you know the practice isn't a quirk. It shows various rods from homemade to purchased. Tells how to use them for the best results. Good and informative book...lots of pictures with the text. Iam not disappointed and realize that when dowsing for water, objects or spirits the answer is...practice, practice, practice.

Easy instructions and informations!

It was an okay book, but not exactly what I thought it would be. It spend too much time on famous dowsers and famous dowser history stories. I just wanted to learn how to dowse. The thing I really wanted to know more about such as dowsing for lost objects was addressed very briefly.

This is a real easy read but very informative. I would recommend it for all beginners as you really do learn a lot.

The book provides an overview of different tools for dowsing - using L rods, Y rod, bobber, pendulum, as well as body for dowsing. It contains many interesting stories - many of them seem to be taken from the books which are referenced at the end of this book, and if you already read other books on dowsing, you may recognize some of the stories.You will find illustrations and photographs related to using different tools for dowsing, some recommended exercises and exploration of different areas of dowsing - finding water, oil, lost or hidden objects, using dowsing for healing, archaeological discoveries and more. Included are interesting profiles of three professional dowsers.
