This doesn't work with just any grinder. Reading other reviews I decided to go ahead and purchase it knowing in advance that it wouldn't pair up with my DeWalt grinder. I knew if it worked out that this would be a designated grind setup so I took the plate that attaches to the grinder to a couple different stores. I found that it attached perfectly to a Makita model 9557pb grinder. You remove the 4 Screws from the grinder head and attach the plate replacing the 4 screws. It does take a little wiggle action to align all 4 screws. Attaching the grinder guard was a bit tricky but was able to be done. I loosened the screw completely spread it open and set the guard in place. Then reinstalled the screw and tightened it back down. This process is not a five minute task you will need to set this up in advance and play with it, make adjustments and, get used to how it works. There is definitely a learning curve involved. For smaller tile I found turning it over and using it as a table was easier than clamping the tile down. The blades that come with it as others have said do not fit which brings me to the next thing the original blade I tried was a mesh blade these blades are reinforced and are thicker in the middle, this added thickness interfers with the cut. I ended up purchasing a porcelain blade and it works well. So all in all I bought a new grinder for $99+ tax. This tool at around $30 and the blade I didn't want to wait so paid $44+ tax. Totalling under $200. I have definitely paid more for a specialty tool before and again knew it didn't work with my grinders. In the included video you can see it's attached well and very sturdy I don't think I will regret the purchase. My only complaint is with this grinder it's a paddle switch and I think I would have preferred an actual switch.

This is a tough one. This is very well made, however, I have 4 angle grinder brands and this didn't fit any of them (Milwaukee (corded and cordless), Dewalt, and 2 HF corded versions. It "almost" fit, but not quite, and to machine it to fit would interfere with the integrity of the overall tool...I'm sure you could make it work, but I figured it's not worth it and I returned - I'll try a different brand/version, but I suspect they're all the same and fit some obscure china only grinder (though my HF grinders are as generic as they come, I was very surprised this didn't fit those tools - it was so close, but just not quite there).
