Tom Hardy's best work
This was a great series. Very deep and dark! I am disappointed that Hardy became a megastar after making this show and will most likely never complete the following seasons, it ended in a cliffhanger. The most unique show I've seen on TV for years. Well worth watching the first season though. Great cast and acting all the way around. This is no B show, A+ all the way. .It is a bit violent if your squeamish,be aware.

An Extraordinary Series from Tom Hardy
The British phenomenon, Tom Hardy working with the creator, Steven Knight has created a rich and complex political tapestry that involves the end of the War of 1812 and the nemesis of the British East India Company. Hardy is the prodigal son, long involved in dark affairs in Africa returns for a strange contested inheritance. The plot, acting and visual presentation is dazzling. It remains one of my favorite series of all time. Hardy is mesmerizing in a role shrouded in mystery and skullduggery. It captivates up to the final moments of the series.
