Lowest Delay + Latency For Fortnite. (2025)
I got this nic because I am someone who chases the lowest latency / delay while gaming (Fortnite) & I can say this the best option after testing other 2.5Gb & 10Gb nics. Way better than my motherboards Ethernet adaptors & out-performs my X870 & Z490 motherboard adapters. This is an old but gold adapter with continued support & offers the lowest latency for gamers. Very easy to install and it's a great price for what it offers. This isn't a guaranteed 0 ping product for Fortnite, but it lowered my average ping by around ~ 2-5 ms & noticeably less desync, my shots register more frequently, and I get less jitter & a trouble free stable connection. This feels like a lowkey *cheat* because I can take walls on opponents with lower ping than me & my builds / edits register faster. If you are into Competitive Fortnite gameplay then this should be a no-brainer.

Far above the rest, worth the (small) premium over other companies
TL;DR: Despite having a premium above the commodity ethernet card manufacturers (TP-Link, D-Link, Realtek, etc.), it is 100% worth it in terms of stability, driver support and performance. Buy this if your current network card is giving you problems. DEFINITELY buy this if you (like me): (1) have a Qualcomm Atheros network card on your motherboard, (2) get random, bluescreen/dump-less crashes and (3) are on Windows 10 1803. (and disable the onboard card in the BIOS afterwards) I bought this adapter to replace an EOL (end-of-life) Atheros onboard network adapter after it started crashing, freezing and even corrupting data --even with the last drivers released. I could've gone for any $10-$20 off-the-shelf ethernet adapter, but I picked Intel because of their excellent track record for performance, stability, driver support and feature set. It was 100% worth it. The crashes I mentioned above were solved, and even some CPU-intensive games (Overwatch) performed better, getting me ~10-20 FPS more on avg in higher-CPU maps. (bring me back up from ~90FPS to ~120FPS) The adapter is still well-supported, with Windows 10 1803-compatible drivers to boot. I got measurably less jitter than on my Qualcomm Atheros onboard adapter, even before I had the crashing issues with it. Network performance was also better with more consistent ping and reaching my max speed faster, alongside less System CPU usage. The card even has a lot of settings to fine-tune for performance, CPU usage, bandwidth & latency. There's even a guide on Intel's site with presets to favor one over the other. (e.g.: "use these settings to reduce latency and increase bandwidth at the possible cost of CPU usage") I considered this versus the cheaper, 2010 card model -- Intel Gigabit CT PCI-E Network Adapter EXPI9301CTBLK -- and decided to go with this model due to having a newer chipset (2013) a couple more features, and none of the current "broken features in Windows 10" issues the older model has. Finally, this card was worth the buy and I recommend it to anyone looking for a well-supported network card that won't give you any issues, and even more so if you're looking to replace a buggy network card.

Fantastic Value
I bought this to replace my onboard Killer Networking NIC. I've had connectivity issues with this Killer Networking card ever since this computer was new. I've tried many different methods of retaining the use of my onboard NIC, but it is just low quality junk. This Intel NIC works beautifully, literally plug and play. Windows will have the most recent driver for you already once installed. Excellent connection quality and speed, this was an upgrade in every way from my onboard Killer NIC. If you have onboard NIC issues and you're tired of it, just buy this and throw it in. You won't regret it.

Supports Vlan tagging on Windows 10
Works great on Windows 10 with Intel ANS driver providing dot1q VLAN tagging to create multiple logical NICs for VM use.

First time buyer of dedicated NIC. Very happy with it!
This is my first time purchasing a dedicated NIC. I went from an Intel Ethernet I218-V onboard network interface to this beauty and I can't even begin to explain the difference of how much faster a dedicated NIC performs over my motherboard's onboard one. My mind was blown. Before, on my onboard NIC, the transfer speed for a Windows 8.1 With Update setup ISO file (4 GB), from my router's connected network external hard drive to my local Samsung 840 Pro drive, was only able to pull 2.30 MB/s max. With the Intel I210-T1 network adapter, it increased to a whopping 50.5 MB/s! It dropped to 39.23 MB/s sometimes, but then went back up to 50 MB/s. A huge improvement in my book. I noticed that loading webpages were much snappier (no, it's not a placebo effect.) I can't believe how much of a difference a dedicated, good NIC can make. This one is definitely worth the buy if you want a faster and more reliable connection to a network. Not all NICs are equal and I learned that motherboard network interfaces don't always provide the best speeds. Make sure to download the latest driver from the Intel website and not install the one on the CD to get the most out of this NIC.

Perfect solution for pfSense firewall
I have been running a pfSense firewall @ home for almost a decade now. I recently upgraded my host system from an aging Dell OptiPlex 755 desktop with an Intel Core2 processor to a Dell OptiPlex 7020 SFF with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz. This was the PERFECT secondary NIC to use in my pfSense 2.6.0 build in that system. I'm currently utilizing it as the WAN interface and the performance has been stellar. The following selection is from the OS Boot log for this I210 adapter. igb0: <Intel(R) I210 (Copper)> mem 0xf7d00000-0xf7dfffff,0xf7e00000-0xf7e03fff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci2 igb0: EEPROM V3.30-0 Option ROM V1-b304-p0 eTrack 0x800007a9 igb0: Using 1024 TX descriptors and 1024 RX descriptors igb0: Using 4 RX queues 4 TX queues igb0: Using MSI-X interrupts with 5 vectors igb0: Ethernet address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (masked for privacy) igb0: netmap queues/slots: TX 4/1024, RX 4/1024

les taux de transfert de mon freenas ont signifiquement augmentés avec cette carte intel. Le CPU du serveur est également moins mis a contribution, la carte faisant du ipv4 checksum offloading entre autre.

I needed a NIC for AoIP using AES67 so it had to support IEEE 1558. This card uses the Intel i210-T1 chipset so just what I needed but thankfully at about half the price of an Intel branded card. It was recognised immediately by Windows and drivers loaded. Intel have just released updated drivers so downloaded those for extra functionality. The card is very cleanly made and comes with both full size and low profile adapters, these are good quality, easy to exchange and made of decent metal. (not bendy with sharp edges!) It uses the short PCI slot so doesn't take up much space inside your machine. HP have lots of servers and business PCs out in the market and aren't going to risk grief by making a duff product.

Works great in FreeNAS. Bought this specifically after seeing it reccomended and the motherboard that I had purchased for FreeNAS had a realtek. Not to crap on realtek cause they do make some good stuff, but the underlying OS in FreeNAS doesn't have the best driver support. Worked out of the box, and is performing flawlessly.

Il prodotto è conforme ed il funzionamento è eccellente. Un prodotto simile ordinato su di un altro sito addirittura non è arrivato ed ho dovuto annullare l'ordine: direi quindi che non c'è paragone!
