You can't go wrong with this author. Her plots have a!l the ingredients for a good read start to finish. We all experience some feelings of loneliness in this life which makes this book a very good example of how her character found the universal answer to.loneliness in one truth: FAITH in GOD. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fiction reads with a happy ending.

I assume you have read the general description of the storyline. Book three is every bit as powerfully written as the first two in the series. What a talented author. Her hard works pays off in her intelligently crafted books. And I get to enjoy the fruit of her labor. Her characters are so realistic that you can't help but wonder if they are representative of real people. The natural descriptive flow places you in the middle of the action. You hear the crunching of leaves, smell the wet earth and feel the bite of cold. You are there. You won't find jarring, illogical scenes that pull you out of the zone nor will you find poor editing. Ms Hannon is a master at her craft. She pulls you into the storyline and directs you onto her desired path. I admit I was wary of the subject matter. I should have known that biblical principles would not be crossed. The Christian aspect remains sound. I truly appreciate being able to read this quality of book in this genre. I have a couple thousand books in my library and have read nearly all of them. Few are written at this level. This one goes into my reread collection. If you're looking for a light, fluffy read... keep looking. If you want danger, intrigue, honourable, heroic law enforcement, and clean, sigh worthy romance, you've just found it. I highly recommend this book.

Irene Hannon has done it again. Though this is not a new book, I hadn't read it yet. I think it may now be one of my favorites she wrote. It moved at a good pace. The writing reflects Irene's high standards. There was only one place that might have been a little unrealistic, but otherwise, it was captivating and kept my attention.

An amazing end to an amazing series! I thoroughly enjoyed the story centering on Nick and Rachel. Nick is a dear man and Rachel is such a sweetie. Unlike Monica and Emily (the ladies in the first two books of the series), Rachel is more naive and not very world savvy, which made her all the more endearing. Nick and Rachel discover they share some childhood similarities.This is a super, action packed, fast moving, gripping book with a tons of suspense, a deranged kidnapper, and a few sweet surprises sprinkled along the way. I was glad to see the main characters from the first two books show up in this one.I enjoyed how near the end of the book clues were coming in from a variety of sources. When all the clues finally came together, I was on the edge of my seat! This book can fully involve the reader.Ms. Hannon does another glorious job of presenting Christ throughout this book as she has in her other series ---both series are excellent reads!Highly recommend!

I believe that we as a culture shy away from the mentally unstable amongst us and are unwilling to risk finding out how or why they are where they are. Irene Hannon is willing to step into some of these otherwise Ignored cultural issues. She also brings out our responsibility as followers of Jesus Christ, to love the unlovely, to pray for them, and be willing to step out of our comfort zone!

The paranormal angle was troublesome for a Christian book. I wouldn't have bought this book had I known there were paranormal elements. Still I plunged ahead. The author built the "romantic" relationship in a nice way, with the two lead characters connecting through talking and spending time with each other. Gets a plus there. What little "physical" connection there was occurred toward the very end--would have preferred a bit more throughout the book.There were many pieces to the story that came together for a happy ending. Definitely an unusual storyline.

This was a really intersting and unusual story. A bizarre reaction from a raggedy doll buried in snow in a car park starts our story and another romance as the hero tries to solve its mystery. Really enjoyable story.

Absolutely fabulous book. Order the next books in the series immediately. Will be buying the rest of Irene Hannon books.
