GE Zoneline Deluxe AZ61H15DAB 14,800 BTU Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner 14,000 Heat Pump

Purchased this unit for a room addition in July 2015. 9 months later, it quit working, After calling GE I was told I contract technician would call to schedule service in 24 hours, Two days later, I called back to check status and was informed the contractor did not work on this unit. I was told that GE would locate a service tech and respond in 48 hours. Three days later, again, I was the one to call for status update. This time I was told that no one could service this unit and the claim was submitted for replacement--I was told I would hear back in 24 hrs. No surprise it was 7 days before I was able to get further information. The review was approved and I was given a model number to verify would work for replacement. Measurements were correct so I was told replacement would be sent. Three days later I was contacted and told that the unit could not be replaced because no one was able to deliver it to our area. Shocked by this since I am 10 miles from GE warehouse. Finally, 20 days after the initial call I was told to submit purchase invoice and GE would refund purchases price. That procedure was started yesterday, lets see how long GE takes to respond. Hopefully I will not have to make too many calls back to check this status.

This is as good as it gets. Quiet for what it is and also efficient. You might want to consider rinsing the coils outside every few years, but these have been doing great for me in the last four and a half years.

HVAC guys wanted $1000 to install this. I just had to replace an old one. With the help of their great customer support, I was able to slide this one right in. Been in for about 2 months in a studio apartment I rent out. Tenant is happy with it.

Have this GE Zoneline Deluxe AZ61H15DAB 14,800 BTU... in a while, around 8 months. Working good. One time start to make big noising, I turn off, then on, and noise was gone. But it is not efficient energy product, electric bill comes very high.

The unit has worked very well since installation. No issues. I was able to hook up an external thermostat with only minor work and have found this product to be a solid investment. Shipping on my order was very fast it arrived the next day.

I exchange this model with an older one that was so noisy you had to turn the tv volume up to hear..I was amazed how easy it was to replace, me and my daughter took out the old one and put the new one in ..It took approximately 10 minutes. .I plugged it up and thought wasn't working because it was so quite. .Very pleased with my purchase. .

This Ptac is super quiet, and performs excellent. I am very pleased with this purchase!
