This Power Supply is not needed to run the rock light kit with the Pro Scale® LED light set (9290).
I bought this kit when the manual specifications show it is required when running the Traxxas 8026X LED Rock Light Kit, and the Amazon listing shows the same. FYI, this power supply kit is not required if you are already running the 2021 Bronco TRX-4 with the 9290 Pro Scale® LED light set. The 9290 kit already has a jumper location for powering the 8026X rock light kit (Pro Scale Lighting Power Module location pin header 7) and this regulated Power Supply installs in that same location when you dont have the Pro Scale LED 9290 kit. Save yourself the trouble and just get the 9290 kit and add the 8026X Rock light expansion kit. I will end up keeping this power supply only because I have another truck I can use this for. But wanted to mention for anyone else looking for that information as I was. Only mentioning 3 stars here, because the information for that kit need or not could be mentioned on the details listed here, but only mentions it IS required and not when it isnt on the TRX-4.
