Water Float Valve with Adjustable Arm, Float Ball Valve Shut Off Automatic 1/2 Inch, Pack of 2

These valves came two in a package, which suggests that they are designed more for use in watering livestock than indoor use. Either way, these are quality valves that are much beefier (no pun intended) than such mini valves. I use a Kerick valve for storing RO/DI water in a 55 gallon industrial plastic drum. Full disclosure: the valve used in the drum currently is a mini-valve that is often used for such purposes. It works fine. But, in order to be safe rather than sorry, I will be replacing it with a MACGOAL valve. I've had enough problems with water running over onto the garage floor because I forgot the RO unit was on.

This is the second set that I've ordered. I've ordered this one for my brother. My husband and my son installed this in 2-five gallon buckets. I needed to have an instant water supply for my chickens so we hooked up the water pipes direct to the buckets. The water float valves are inside like a toilet tank so when the buckets are full, it shuts off. There are three waterer cups hooked up to each bucket. I have two buckets.

Ordered 26 these work great, easy to install and set water float. Had only one issue with one valve not shutting off 100%, emailed and a new valve being sent out for replacement. If you looking for a float valve that shuts off 100% these are it!

Difficult to adjust and tends to leak even when full.

Keeps my garden water fountain full so I don't need to manually refill every few days. Works great plus I have a spare unit for the future!
