Work just fine.
Excellent - helping to keep my old synthesizer "alive." The original disks had begun to fail. I found a resource to get the originals, downloaded them, and used these disks to replicate them all.

High Density Disks in Disguise
I purchased these disks for use with both my Mac Plus and my Mac SE, neither of which will work with HD disks. After reading the other reviews on this site, I was concerned that I was going to get HD disks rather than DD. I cracked open the box and was very excited to see that they only had one hole at the top (although no DD logo). When I put one in my Power Mac 6100 to format, it correctly recognized it as an 800K disk, but when I tried to initialize it, it failed only a few seconds in. I pulled out another, and that one failed as well. I repeated this process until I had tried about 10 disks or so, and I finally got it to format! I was very disappointed with this box's high failure rate. I copied some files to that working disk and stowed it away for a bit. About a month later, I came back to that disk. Every single file I put on there had been corrupted. It was at that moment I put two and two together: this is exactly the behavior that you would expect if you put tape over the second hole on an HD disk. I had tried it once before when I needed a DD disk in a fringe, and this is exactly what happened. For the sake of science, I pulled out one of the disks that wouldn't even format. I tested it again in many machines and still could not get it to format. Then, I took it over to my power drill and drilled a hole right where the second hole would be on an HD disk. I took it over to my computer, and it formatted first try as a 1.44 MB disk. Wild, huh? You know what was even wilder, I was able to copy about 1.4 MB of data onto the disk, then take it to a totally different computer, and every file was still there, not corrupted at all. This would have been impossible with a Double Density disk, therefore they cannot be DD disks. tl;dr These are not double density disks, even if they come in double density disk housing. Don't waste your money on them. Unfortunately, I did and now I cannot return them because the return window has passed (and I put a hole in one of the disks, for science).

Nice to be able to order these older disks
Nice to be able to order these older disks. I've had a couple act silly and the plastic that covers the magnetic disk is pretty flimsy (even splits across the top on some), but they do seem to be working for the most part. Can't comment on their longevity, though.

Seem to work as advertised. I use them for an old Yamaha Disklavier which will only work with 720 kb disks. The ones I got do have the write protect tab on them, so I don't know what one reviewer was talking about.

My wife uses these for her court reporting machine and the only issue she has is, the last box she purchased didn't have the adhesive labels in the box.

Great buy
Don't be scared away by the '720k' moniker -- they work just as well as 880k Amiga floppies.
