According to the manufacturer, Extinguish Plus should not be applied if rain is expected within 8 hours. For best results, I have found that 24 hours is much better. Additionally, make sure the soil temperature remains at or above 65 degrees F, day and night. Application to moist ground is ok but do not apply to wet ground. The preceding info is based on broadcast application. For further info, go to the various web sites that discuss this product. I hope this helps.

can it be used im horse pasture?

Yes the Extinguish Plus has had a label update that allows it to be used in grazing areas with no withdrawal or grazing restrictions.
