I use this bright white paper in my color laser printer. The 20lb stuff jams all of the time and after switching to this slightly heavier paper, the jamming issues have disappeared. The finish is smooth and the paper just feels like high quality stuff compared to the less expensive light paper. If you have a color laser printer, this is the paper that works well and the color looks great on the bright white surface.

I used to work from home and so I would order paper in larger quantities for business use. So after I stopped working, I had a large leftover supply from my last business order, which has lasted me an amazing four more years. I was using Staples brand copy paper, 92 bright and 20lb weight and had used it for years. I believe it's their most basic/cheapest, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. Anyway, it's served my purpose fine, I've never had any complaints. But now I am no longer working and use less paper, so I decided to price-shop smaller quantities this time around. I found this Hammermill Premium Multi-Purpose here on Amazon on sale, with an Amazon "instant-clip" coupon, and that's what sold me, it happened to work out to be the best price for 5 realms that I could find. I suspect it is not usually the cheapest, I think I just got lucky. Already as I write this review a few days after ordering it, I can see the price has increased. I've never been picky about "brightness" or "weight" in the past; in fact, I didn't even know what I was using for brightness and weight until I checked my old package before ordering this out of curiosity. So I think it's important to point out, that I am apparently not very paper picky. But here's what I observed with this slightly more premium paper. I compared a sheet of this Hammermill 97 bright/24lb with my old Staples 92 bright/20 lb side by side. I could see the Hammermill is definitely brighter. Feeling-wise, I couldn't feel a huge difference. I 'guess' the Hammermill feels heavier/smoother - but not by much, the brightness difference seemed more noticeable for me personally. I printed a small graphic clip-art of a rainbow with a pot of gold on the old and the new paper, just to see how the color comparison would be. Sure enough, the colors DO look better on the Hammermill 97 bright. Not a huge difference, but if you print things with color that are important or if you do color-oriented printing-type crafts often, then this does seem to make the colors look better, they just seem to 'pop' a little more against the brighter background. Not drastically better, but noticeably better. That said, I personally rarely print color graphics or photos, I do 98% or more of my printing as basic black-ink letters, articles, etc., so I don't care too much about color appearance. As far as jamming: I've personally never had any jamming issues with the 20lb Staples paper, in fact, I'm not sure I've ever had a single jamming issue with it that I can recall. So while this 24lb weight is said to jam less, it seems to me a moot point. I use a home model Brother brand inkjet printer, if that helps. So my walk-away is this: If you do a lot of color printing and care about colors being more sharp, this does seem to be a nice brightness for that. Weight and quality-wise, it feels very similar to my Staples 20lb paper; slightly better, but not enough difference for me to care. So for me personally, next time I need to order, I'd see if this was on sale and if so, I would definitely order it again, it's nice paper. But if I saw 92 bright/20 lb pack of 5 reams of another brand that was cheaper, I'd be perfectly content with that too and would prefer the savings, given that I do so little color printing.

Great paper

Buying printer paper is such a chore and the dread of running out adds another layer of stress! Buying in bulk is the economical choice, but hauling those cases around is no joke. I found this Hammermill brand of paper with premium quality without the premium price tag. It's a 20lb weight with a bright white color. rating of 97. I'm keeping this one on my reorder list. The laser printer colors pop, the text is crisp, and it dries quickly and won't yellow over time. It's made right here in the USA, which is always a bonus in my book.

Leo que les ha llegado dañado a otras personas. A nosotros nos llegó sin problemas, y sin daños. Acuérdense de que pueden usar la garantía de 30 días con Amazon si es que Amazon se hizo cargo del envío (lean bien en la ventana de compra). Dicho eso... este papel es increíble. De bellísima blancura, y además de buen gramaje/grosor. Lo vi recomendado en otros sitios en inglés, y vaya que ha estado a la altura de las expectativas. Definitivamente recomendable :)

EL PAPEL LLEGÓ DAÑADO. Devolverlo es costoso y engorroso. Deberían de tener mayor cuidado.

I am a realtor and as such need good quality paper when submitting evaluations to my clients or paperwork to our local Real Estate Board. This has been the best quality I have found over the past 25 years.

This is maybe my 3rd time ordering this paper. Comes 5 packages to a box so not too heavy to lift and the quality of the paper is great. The difference between a 20lb and 24lb is worth the extra money.

Hammernill paper are good for laser printer Expensive but if you print a lot It’s the go to buy paper !
