So I have used it about 10 times.. This is one of those products that once you use it you stop and ask yourself "where has this been all my life"? This product works great! It is easy to learn to use. It is much faster and much safer to core and slice fresh pineapples now. This tool works so well and is so efficient that I can now core and slice a fresh pineapple in less than 20 seconds. It used to take 5 to 10 minutes and I have cut myself with the sharp knife several times over the years. Safety is no longer an issue. It is very easy to clean and store. It appears that with proper use it is a tool that will last many years. I like this product so much that I plan on purchasing additional ones for gifts. I give this product my highest recommendation. I thought this would be like the vegimatic where you have to be strong to use it. I am old and not strong anymore. But the first time used it was easy peasy. It actually works by itself. You just turn the knob. Unreal. I showed it to my my daughter and she wants one. I grew up in Hawaii and have pealed a lot of pineapple in my life. This tool is worth storing. It works easily.

It works!

Ezy is the word!
I got fed up with cutting my own pineapple into pieces for my juicer so I bought this pineapple corer slicer to try. I found it so easy to use! Hardly any pressure is needed, it slices very easily and smoothly through the pineapple with virtually no mess. I had a bit of trouble getting the core out when it was finished but quickly realized that all I had to do was to push the core out from the bottom and voilà! it was out! The slices are not thick so it would be perfect for a pineapple upside down cake and fruit salads etc. Slices are a bit more than 1/4 inch thick. I'm going to try it in my dehydrator and see how it works in there. I would highly recommend this to anyone who just hasn't got the time or patience to cut a pineapple up by hand...or anyone else....We have better things to do with our precious time, right?

Great Product and Customer Service!
It took a moment for me to get a chance to use this item being so busy, and I was truly impressed at the seller who got in touch on several occasions to see if the product was to my liking. I am very happy to say that after finally using it, I found it worked very well. My pineapple was cored exactly as shown, leaving a beautiful shell that could be used for party decorations. I am very, very pleased and will be buying several more for Christmas presents. Thank you again for such a very good product and for the rarely seen, great customer service!

Easier than Slicing
I love fresh pineapple, but cutting it is a bit of an issue. I used the corer for the first time today, and it worked pretty well. Although it claims to retain the juice, the juice did come out of the pineapple quite a bit. It was also a bit tough to get the core out of the middle, but not as tough as slicing a pineapple with a knife. It slices the pineapple into a big "ribbon," which you can then slice in to chunks. I really like it.

Appeared to be used, works OK
It came quickly but it wasn't the brand pictured here, the box was torn open and it appeared to be used. If it cost more, I would have sent it back. Works OK.

Totally unimpressed!
This product does not represent USA usual quality. There are scatches on this "high quality" item producing rust effect. Stainless steel has never been like this. I would be afraid to eat the pineapple! The reviews never had a negative review, totally mislead. I am returning item today.

Works Great
Assembly is easy just snap on the handle. Cut the top off the pineapple and give it a few turns and you have all good cored pineapple fruit, and if you cut the core out of the middle you can use it as a cup. Choose the wider pineapples when picking them if you want them as cups or you might go through the sides which makes the cup leak and a mess. This is undoubtedly the easiest way to peel, core and slice a fresh pineapple.
