the type of putter one uses makes a big difference as to how this device can be utilized. My putter makes it difficult to use correctly.

Not beneficial at all. The sticks bend when you make your stroke and it is almost impossible to get your ball lined up perfectly every time you want to make a stroke.

I have all the putting gadgets. This is a very nice one. I actually took out all the bars and simple clip one of my 3' long or so alignment sticks in the plastic bases. This allows me to practice getting the putt rolling on line for a longer distance and if you can roll your ball through both end holes, keeping it straight, then you can get any putt to start on line. That's half the battle in putting!
