You will "Furever" love this book.
If you're a dog or even an animal lover, this book is for you. The book is told from the point of view of the Golden Retriever, Ginger, who starts out her life with her litter mates in a puppy mill. Ginger and her litter mates are then sold to a pet store and from there Ginger goes from one home to another. This book is amazing for all ages be it a little one who loves dogs, to a great bed time book, to anyone who loves animals. This book is not only entertaining but it also teaches you about the horrors that are puppy mills, the dog breed's history, and all about breed rescues to finding the right dog for you.

Sweet story
I bought and read this book then sent it on to my sweet 8 year old granddaughter. What a good story for children to learn about the abuse in puppy mills and caring for dogs! Very uplifting!

An idea.
I am 11. I love your books. I have always thought about there being a cat diaries. I just have an idea for you. It is about a cat diaries book you should write. The setting takes place in the time of the great depression. Carl and Amanda have four children. Tom, the oldest is 15. Then Kate is 10 and the twin boys,Kelley and Cam are 6. Kate has a kitten named mittens. She is a long hair mix. The dad looses his job and they are forced to move out suddenly. Somehow, Mittens gets left behind. The majority of the book is of her journey. Through the challenges of a world filed with a poor crisis, this kitten struggles to get back to her family. I hope you will read my idea and contact my dad for more details. You can reach my dad at [email protected]

Wonderful read
Bought the digital for my 8 year old granddaughter for her birthday. She loved it. This is a series, so if you have a dog lover, this is great. I'd say the level is an advanced 8 year old - 11 year old. It's got a message, too. This was her first e-book. Very successful on the Kindle Fire.

Well written. Fun perspective from the dog's point of view
Well written book. I love this series, bringing a different perspective to our thinking. My 8-year-old son and his friends really enjoyed it too and he often talks about it when we see a dog around.

Amazing story
Ginger tells a amazing story of love, loneliness and courage. Ginger has been abandoned and adopted many times, and the only thing she wants is a family to love her. Ginger tells a story much like mine, because all ginger wanted was to find a furever family and all I want is a dog to be my forever dog just like ginger.

Age appropriate for young teens or tweens.
I liked that it showed the world from a dog's perspective. I also liked that it had lots of characters so that when I read the book out loud, I can make the characters voices interesting.
