Modiano Poker 4 Jumbo Index Light Blue

Love these cards,size of print is perfect,have a lot of use and they don't fray on corners like other brands do.these are the only brand I purchase now.

I play poker regularly and need a deck that is durable, easy to shuffle and glides over the table. We used to use a Sports Direct branded deck - they are durable and good shufflers but the plastic coating could be better. The Modiano's are durable and shuffle just as well, but the coating is high quality and luxurious, they are a step above the Sports Direct and a worthy deck for any game.

Bought two decks for the inevitable games over Xmas. Unfortunately the Copag deck I normally use for poker where OOS. Use to play Modiano decks at poker tournaments I played. These just don't feel the same. They feel cheap the printing is poor and the overall quality is not up to a £10+ decks. Don't waste your money buy Copag, or Bicycle or Bee. Should of ordered theory 11 and paid the extra.

These cards are made by the Italian company Modiano. They are one of the few manufacturers of playing cards that haven't been bought up by Cartamundi. Bicycle, Hoyle, Copag, France Cartes, Altenburger, AGMüller, Fournier, they're all owned by Cartamundi. Modiano isn't. These cards are made of plastic and they feel very similar to the Copag Elite and Bicycle Prestige decks; the price tag is comparable. They shuffle incredibly well right out of the box and don't need to be broken in like paper cards. One very unusual thing about this deck is that the indexes are in all four corners. Useful for southpaws, since you can fan your cards right-to-left, but it makes certain games with cards side-by-side like Pyramid a bit confusing. The indexes are extra large, making them useful for games where the cards are on the table, like Texas Hold 'em, but less useful for large-hand games like Bridge. Modiano used to provide cards for the World Series of Poker, but lost the contract to Copag.
