I thought I would be able to use the cheaper carving tools since I an only carving the pink rubber for art work. My hand hurt so badly I quit doing it. I decided to try these, and they are effortless and cause no pain. I absolute love them!!

These are really good tools, I have bought a few different brands of tools and most of them have been good but all my flexcut stuff is great quality and reasonably priced. the palm part is a bit smaller than i was expecting but its still comfortable and it works really well.

Well, it looks good but I thought it was more heavy , instead is really light but I haven’t use it . Then I will do a video while I use it

Sharp, Affordable Printmaking Tools
Best linoleum tools that I have yet to purchase. These are comfortable and really sharp. I can cut smooth lines and shapes with ease. I have had them for a while and do not need to sharpen these as often as some of my other tools. Had a good laugh when I opened up the wooden storage box, which is also very convenient, and found a bandaid holder.

You get what you pay for - most of the time
These aren't cheap, but they are quality. I've bought Flexcut stuff for a while and the reason their stuff is high quality boils down to the metal itself. These are comfortable, they hold an edge, they hold up to carving the toughest materials and they are absolutely worth it if your a serious wood carver.

Works great for carving linoleum for relief printing!
I am using them with Speedball Speedy Carve linoleum pieces and they are a joy to use for detail carving for Linocut prints. I will start carving regular Lino when my order for the Flexcut SlipStrop arrives so I can sharpen them when needed. I like the Flex cut Mini set because there’s a small u shape chisel that I was missing when I just had the Speedball 5 blade set. I have just had the set for a couple of days so I can’t say anything about edge retention yet but some professional printmaking artists recommend them.
