Perfect fit
I've had the Wildside Blendtec since 2011, so I wasn't surprised when the lid finally started cracking. This is a great replacement - fits great and makes the blender feel like new.

BEST BLENDEC LID EVER!
I've been using Blendtec blenders for years. Love the blenders... but the lids are another story. The lid I got with my very first Home Blendtec was great. Thick, rigid and easy to slap on the jar. Then I bought a commercial Blendtec with the silencer and the 3 jars that came with it were flimsy. As the jars started to warp from being in the dishwasher - the lids became harder and harder to put on. I finally ordered a new jar that came with this new lid design. Not only did it work perfect for the new jar, it fit all the old ones that had gotten a little warped perfect too!! If you got the old, inferior lids... order this. It'll fix the problem!

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for here. A+
Sure it should cost less, but there is a reason I bought the Blentec and continue to recommend it as a raving fan. Unfortunately, we melted the clear center to the lid in the dishwasher and had to buy a whole new assembly. So I paid $20 for a $0.50 part...but whatever, my blender is back in action and working like a champ. There is no amount of savings that could take me back to the days of cheap throw-away blenders.

Latching lid fits well. Do not wash with hot water as lid will expand. Is not dishwasher safe
