The media could not be loaded.  This particular product is very well made and it works quite easily. In fact, I find the sensitivity to be far better than any I’ve used before. It’s also very easy to maintain as far as cleaning goes. Plus keep in mind that because of the plastic material used, it makes the weight less of an issue to carry. I can stick it right into my pocket. Even with the metal material used on the staging area it’s still lightweight so I’ll have to say I love the material it’s made up with. And I love the attractive blue lights that make it very comfortable to see and easy to calibrate. Thanks for this amazing yet very affordable piece.Continued ;(((Unfortunately all the rubber tipped feet but two have since fallen out making it inaccurate. Needless to say I had to remove the remaining rubber feet to equalize the scale making the entire scale unstable and slide around all over the place. This makes me furious and I don’t know what to do. So I guess I’ll contact the store on here that sold it.

The scale works as expected and displays an attractive design. If you like smooth, rounded edges and corners, this model is for you. Yes, it's smaller than most competitors of its size, however it has the best cover that acts as a nice, deep tray. Additionally, which you cannot see in the pictures, is that the cover has a ring embedded in the middle of it that allows the unit to sit securely on the plate, so it doesn't slide around, or potentially off of, the scale.My only small issue I would point out is that the cover touches the scale's plate and will therefore trigger its function if you don't turn it off straight away. However, it's not a firm connection so I can't see this effecting the performance of the unit over time, and it does not prevent it from automatically turning off when there is no activity.

Scale works well. I purchased for my DIY projects. Light weight, easy to use and store.

Use it for measuring loose leaf teas, and raw ingredients for smoothies and it has excelled at this. I like that the tray snaps on as a protective cover and that it is small enough to fit in the kitchen drawer ( the scale it replaced was a larger round kitchen scale that was less precise and was an awkward shape/size).

Very accurate and easy to use

First thing you notice is that this scale is extremely solid and well built for a pocket scale. Many others feel thin and flimsy I've had it for years and it's as good as the day I got it. Battery life is great.The highlight is the very nice spacious lid/tray that it comes with. Too many have hinged trays which are a pain to work with. This one is solid and made of softer more malliable plastic so it won't ever crack or get damaged. It pops entirely off with the push of a button and has plenty of depth under it so the delicate parts of the device are protected from pressure and debris when it's not in use, or when it gets tossed in a drawer or travel bag.Not only that, but I haven't seen a similar product where the tray has a recessed groove that snugly fits onto the metal weighing platform and stays perfectly in place and centered to make things as accurate as possible; while also minimizing any spilliage! You won't be disappointed.

The tray serves as a great cover for the scale, keeping it safe. This is my second one, the first from many years ago is still in service. Good screen, wish it were brighter but overall, a great scale for jewelry.

After reading hundreds of reviews on various digital scales (all in the $10-$20 price range) I concluded that all of them have their share of negative reviews. Realistically... no one should be expecting a laboratory quality instrument for such a cheap price. Personally... I only needed a gram scale to more accurately measure ingredients when baking. I chose this one over all the others because when considering the of reviews for any scale I was considering... this one had the lowest percentage of 1 star reviews per the "total number" of reviews.Mine worked with no problems right out of the box. FYI: Although it includes batteries I did not use them. I always prefer to install my own batteries in electronic devices rather than installing an unknown brand of Chinese battery. The display is easy to read bright blue backlit display. The dust cover also serves as a convenient measuring tray. Unlike other inexpensive scales offered on Amazon this cover/measuring tray has a slight lip that allows it to secure and center itself on the measuring platform. A nice feature.NOTE: Although this scale includes instructions on a calibration procedure, like most scales in this price range, the scale "does not" include the weights needed to perform the calibration. If desired, to calibrate the scale you have two options. 1) A single step 1000g procedure where use a one 1000g weight to calibrate. Or... 2) A slightly more accurate 300g two step procedure where you need both a one 100g weight and one 200g weight. The two step procedure is as follows:1. Turn on the unit and wait for it to stabilize2) Press and hold the Unit button until "CAL" shows in the display3) Press the Unit button again (do not hold this time) and in a few seconds the display will show "100.00"4) Place a 100g weight on the center of the scale platform, wait a few second and it will show "300.00" (yes... it shows 300 and not 100 like you might expect)5) Then.. add a 200g weight to the platform, wait a few seconds and it will show "PASS"At this point your calibration was successful and ready for use.If you really need something with more accuracy but don't want to spend a small fortune... peruse Amazon for products like or similar to the Fristaden Lab Digital Precision Scientific Laboratory Scale.
