A great socket for you alloy wheel nuts 'n' bolts
I bought this as the garage that serviced my brakes must have put the wheel on with an impact wrench - sooo tight! Trying to remove the bolts to change the wheels (to ones with winter tyres) I broke my old chrome vanadium 17mm socket on a bar, and needed a new socket, and Wiesmann seems to have a good reputation for build quality so bought one of these. So far it's functioned well with the plastic sleeve providing good protection to the wheels; didn't cost the earth (compared to a SnapOn socket) so was decent value for money; hopefully being made of chrome molybdenum it's not as brittle as the old one and is more durable, and fits my 1/2" wrench and torque wrench OK (so I can tighten the nuts to the correct torque and not go nuts with an impact gun!!)

Well made, heavy, wheel nut sockets, plastic sleeve looks durable and are well attached, plastic bumper inside to protect nut outer face. all in a strong little box. Price for 5 of these is about the same as the price for 3 high end sockets. German made from a well established tool company.

Broke on first use
This impact socket didn't last 5 seconds. First use with a minimal powered battery operated impact drill and it is cracked. I ordered a different size at the same time and I don't even want to test it. I've bought this brand before and also had failures. I thought I was maybe too hard on the tools but this is crazy. Refund for both 21mm and 19mm would be great.

I mainly do standard car maintenance at home. I have had a bad run of car repairs lately so these have run though taking the wheels on and off on my three cars a bunch. I am very pleased with them, Especially for the price. I figured for the price I could buy a couple sets before it would be worth buying a nice one.
