Great premium 2 channel dashcam and better value than others
First thing's first. If you don't have a dashcam, I strongly suggest you get one, regardless of how much your car is worth since a single claim against you is likely to increase your insurance premium by at least as much as the cost of the camera. Ironically, I bought the Thinkware because I was involved in an accident and my BlackVue DR650S-2CH was in the car that was now in for repairs and I needed a dashcam for the loan car. Thanks to front and rear footage in glorious HD of the accident and other driver clearly showing he was liable, I avoided a 15k+ claim against my insurance and settlement within a few days. Both are great dashcams and I'm aware that most people favour the BlackVue though I'm not sure why - particularly bearing the price difference in mind.Like all dashcams, it's possible to get a fairly neat installation without having to permanently wire it in. I will say I thought it was a bit cheeky not to include a 12V cigar lighter plug and the price for the separate item seemed rather steep (see other review). The Thinkware F770 is easy to setup, has a good app and has so far worked flawlessly.

Great dashcam, hardwire too short and awful iOS software.
Excellent package providing 1080p HD cameras for the front AND rear of the car. Very funny about micro SD cards you can use, but I found that the Samsung Memory 64 GB EVO Plus MicroSDXC UHS-I Grade 1 Class 10 Memory Car works fine. Two issues which prevent me from giving five stars: - The hardwire cable is 8ft long, so if your fuse box is NOT within the cockpit of your car then you'll have issues installing it. I contacted the seller who provided no help whatsoever! I suggest that you get an auto electrician to install it, which cost me £40 as he wired it into the loom behind the glove box.- The app doesn't work properly on iOS, but works fine on Android. On iOS it allows you to view the cameras in real time and change settings, but crashes when you try to view recorded footage. I ended up having to keep an old Android phone in my car that I can link via wifi if I need to view any footage.

Great Dashcam speedily supplied. Installed it myself and working as designed.
I purchased this Dashcam from the advertise supplier (caraudiosecurity). Mindful of the 2 previous reviewers comments I phoned caraudiosecurity (got through straight away) and spoke to a very helpful chap about the comments. He was unaware that his advert had been associated with problems relating the installation of a 3rd party and assured me that on average they install 2 of these each week and have not had any problems with them. He believes that any problems reported are either due to incorrect installation or unfamiliarity with the operating software settings. This eased my concerns and having read many positive reviews of 'caraudiosecurity' I ordered the F770 hardwired version from them. The order was delivered by DPD with 48 hours (I suspect it would have been even quicker had I not left it until late afternoon to place the order. I have installed the unit myself (search on line for 'f770 installation bmwx5 f15' to see my review of the installation). I contacted 'caraudiosecurity' with a minor installation query (where should I fit the supplied interference suppression ferrite ring) and they were very helpful. I have had no problems so far and the system is working fine. I have tried both parking modes ( Time Lapse and Motion detection) and also the shut-down settings of timed and battery voltage cut-off and all work as designed. I have deactivated Lane departure and Speed Camera warnings having ensured first that they work. I found the product to be well designed and the camera settings, interconnection and recorded footage all met my expectations and would happily recommend this Dashcam.

Undecided, but it does its job
Totally undecided about this Dash Cam. It was easy enough to insall (Hardwired option) and produces a relativly clear image (although at night it is hard to make out number plates). The gripes I have are as follows:The unit throws a LOT of "False Positives" - for some reason, the Forward Collission warning will sound when I am completely alone on an empty road.To use the WIFI connection, you need to have the unit turned on - with the Hardwire Kit, this means having the ignition on - you can't just connect a smartphone (iPad) to the unit over Wifi and leave it to download because as soon as the ignition is switched off, the unit goes into "Parking Mode" and closes the WIFI connection. The manual is atrocious. There are no clear instructions as to the meaning of the various beeps and sounds given out - Is it a Speed Camara? A Red Light Camera? A Lane departure or a Forward Collission warning? - I have no idea (to be fair, red light and speed cameras are accompanied with a voice notification which is great, but I still have no idea why I still get other warnings with different tones). The lack of a screen is not a problem when connected to "Live View" on a smarphone, but again, you can only do this over WIFI and getting connected can only be done with ingnition on (also, WIFI will be disabled very quickly if you are not accessing any file or menu changes - literally, within a minute or so, meaning you have to turn the ignition off, back on and reconnect. Time is NOT on your side with this device). Then there is the software (PC Viewer and Live View). I have only used this with iOS and Mac devices (which are supported), however, the manual and instructions are not at all clear and there is a lot of trial and error to get things right. The Motion detection is ultra sensitive (which might be a good thing), but getting back into the car and hearing "Over 10 motion events" (the voice counter only goes up to 10), means that if you are in a public car park you really ought get out and check for damage (Most are simply people or cars passing by, some at a considerable distance away). The latest advert/manual shows a Polarising filter - Mine does not have one. This shows that the litreature and manuals are advanced of the units on sale. The included Mini SD card is fine, I purchased a 64GB (max allowable) card and simply inserted it into the camera - the camera will format the card and set up the folder structure for you. However, updating the Speed Camera Warnings and also the Firmware is not covered in any detail in the manual (specifically, where do you put the downloaded files on the SD card?) = Again, trial and error sorted this. The Good Things:Set up (Hard Wiring) was easy. Used a Multi-meter to identify fuses with power all the time and those that were only powered with the ignition on. Purchased 2 x "Fuse Bridges" (Plug into the exisiting fuse location and allow a second circuit to come off those) for less than £5. Once plugged into the fuse holder, the unit is up and running (don't bother with professional fitting unless your DIY/Mechanic skills are atrocious - You can buy a Multimeter and the fuse bridges for £15).Detection of Speed Cameras appears to be excellent, together with "Mobile Speed Camera Zones" notified by a rather persistant voice alert. (The mobile zones are not connected to speed of the car, or notify you of the speed limit, you just get a warning that you are in a "Mobile Speed Camera Zone". The Spped Camera warning are better, giving you the spped restriction in the area of the camera. In addition, the Speed camera alerts appear to regignice the direction of the camera, so if you have a camera that covers your direction of travel, you get an alert, while if the camera is not tracking your direction of travel, the unit remails silent (I.E., Go past a speed camera one way and it will alert, go past the same camera in the other direction and there is no alert unless your lane (and direction of travel) is covered by the camera.Overall, I am not that impressed for what is one of the more expensive cameras. I will keep it, but have that little niggle that there may be another (better) option out there where the finer points (and niggles) have been addressed.

OTTIMO PRODOTTO
Ti parla addirittura in Italiano.
