Transformed my cheap guilele. Great sound, Only...
So I suppose my guilele (carmel 30" 6-string guilele here on amazon) has a larger scale length I guess than other guileles, as I could only get this up to eadgbe tuning, not the a to a tuning that is advertised here. I could have risked it, but for me, even at e to e tuning the tension was much higher than the stock strings that came with my instrument and felt great. Still trying to find a to a strings for my guilele, but these made a world of difference, even when tuned to e to e.

Good, not great
These are the first actual guitalele strings I've tried (Kanile'a Islander GL6), hoping they might be better than regular classical or folk-nylon guitar strings. They're not bad, hold their tune fairly well, but their tone and sustain are nothing special. My only real complaint is that the individual strings are not labeled--you have to determine which is which from their size, which was problematic for my old eyesight. I had to use a magnifying glass to be certain. The tiny print on the envelope is also impossible to read, although that doesn't matter. For first-timers, be aware that these take a LOT of cranking to bring up to pitch--especially that high A string! Also, these don't have ball ends, so for pin bridge instruments (Kanile'a, Cordoba) you'll need to tie on the eyelets saved from another set of strings, Again, I'm not unhappy with these, but will go back to regular classical guitar strings, which are labeled and are a couple of dollars less.

Sonic refresh
This was the perfect new set of strings for my Yamaha GL1 guitalele. The instrument is so much more vibrant with the new set. As for labeling, the string's sizes correspond to their placement on the instrument - smallest nylon goes first (right hand side if you're looking at the fretboard), continue with the nylons, then smallest wound string goes next, ending with largest wound string on the left hand side. Just installed a day ago so no report on longevity at this time.

Great Tone
Aside from the learning curve that comes with tying these off by hand at the bridge; their tonality is second to none. The first few times I’ve swapped these strings it was a bit frustrating, because I was new to the manual tie at the end of the bridge. But after the first few times I begin to feel like this process made me more connected to my instrument. I’ve played guitar for over 24 years. 9 of those professionally.

They have a nice tone and stay in-tune for extended periods
Bought these as back ups for the ones already on my Cordoba Guilele. I don't use anything else but Aguila strings on my ukuleles and guilele. They have a nice tone and stay in-tune for extended periods.

They work great, sound clear
They work great, sound clear, and holds tune well. Only one that goes out of tune most of the time is the C string, but that could also be from my not so high quality geared tuners.

Quality Plus
Sound great and didn't pop when I went from inside an air conditioned house to play on the porch at 90 degrees and 94 percent humidity. I will order more when appropriate.
