Perfect clock for wood projects

My wife wanted a clock for her music room. This clock is 2" across and made to be inset in a hole. We designed the case and I made it out of wood. My wife loves the clock. It is easy to read from across the room. It is made of metal and glass. Many similar clocks on Amazon were plastic.

We got 2 of these. We live full-time in our motor home (love it), but never did have a clock that I could see while driving, nor have one easy to see in our bedroom. These were the thinnest and lightest I could find, and we velcro'd one to the dashboard, one to the bedroom wall right under a light. So far, so good. The hands could have a little more contrast so they're easier to see when light reflects off the crystal. They seem to be keeping time well. How they hold when we're driving down the road remains to be seen - that's the primary reason we got them.

This clock insert is attractive and fit nicely. That just isn't good enough when you want to have a timepiece that actually is reliable. This one works sporadically, but ultimately fails. I am so disappointed. I notice that all of the clock inserts on Amazon that fit my clock seem to have problems. After the fact I know that I should never had purchased an insert that did not have a replaceable battery.

If your oven clock breaks, just stick this one over it. Unfortunately, these clocks sometimes stop working for no reason, and can be fiddled with to start again...but for me, unreliability meant buying another clock after one year, and the other clock stopped working so fast, I confused which was which...they are supposed to last 2 years and the battery is NOT changeable...so I am looking for another brand.

Nice looking clock for a project that I am working on...fits great and looks even better...I will be ordering more!!!

I had a cute little decorative clock where the clock mechanism wasn’t working. I popped the old one out and put this new one in and it works like a charm!It was ever so slightly smaller than the original clock but I put a command strip on the back and it did the trick.

I used it to make a Smiths M3 motorcycle clock. It works well.

The clock stops randomly and needs a shake to get going again. Then slows down to show wrong time. Don't rely on this watch and keep another one next to it if you really end up buying this.
