Fit was perfect for 2008 Jeep Wrangler JK
The mirror came with the metal piece that attaches to the windshield glass, as well as the glue used to adhere the metal piece to the glass. However, the included metal piece and glue were not needed, because the mirror attachment point fit perfectly on the existing metal piece that was already adhered to the windshield. I just loosened the set screw that was holding the old mirror in place and removed it. Then I placed the new mirror's attachment point over the existing metal piece on the windshield and tightened the set screw. Done. Not even 30 seconds of work. The mirroring on the old OEM unit was jacked up with age. The new unit is perfectly reflective and seems to be very solidly built.

Perfect fit - OEM replacement
This is an exact OEM replacement. Fit on the existing glass mount perfectly but also came with replacement mount and adhesive. Only requires Allen wrench to install. Excellent, OEM quality for my Jeep.

Perfect Factory Replacement
Is your Jeep mirror old, decrepit, foggy, blurred, riddled with lines or cracks, wobbly, loose, broken, etc.? Buy this. It installs in seconds (works with factory glass mount- no need to use adhesive parts unless windshield has been replaced) with a single screw.

Perfect Replacement
I bought this to replace the rear view mirror in my sons 2011 Jeep Wrangler The old mirror was starting to delaminate around the edges, so a replacement was in order. I loosened the set screw on the base and slide the old mirror off, put the new one on and tightened with the appropriate size Allen key. I did not have to use the glue, so I am not sure how that would have worked with a new windshield but the mirror was a perfect replacement. Overall a good product. No issues.

Is this really a Rugged Ridge mirror?
The Rugged Ridge name had influence over my purchase as I've bought their products before. Although this mirror is labeled as Rugged Ridge, the name on the back of the mirror says Donnelly. It appears that this is referred to as a kit “This rear view mirror kit from Rugged Ridge …”. So it looks like Omix-ADA may get the mirror from Donnelly then some minimum wage flunky tosses it into a box with adhesive so you now have a Rugged Ridge kit even though it’s not a Rugged Ridge mirror. This is just me trying to work it out. At least it’s made in the USA. Anyway, I was replacing my cracked windshield so I figured it was the perfect time to replace my de-laminated mirror. This mirror was the perfect choice to replace that old mirror on my 2007 Jeep JK. My windshield guy had no problem attaching this mirror to my new windshield. The adjustments on the mirror are nice and tight so it doesn’t flop around while driving. There really isn’t anything special about the mirror other than it being a good quality inexpensive replacement for the OEM mirror. The only issue, (putting aside that it's a Donnelly mirror), was packing. Inside the Amazon box was a smaller tightly sealed plain box. No packing around this inner box to keep it from bouncing around of course. (Thanks Amazon. If anything you’re consistent.) It was a good thing that this smaller box was so tightly sealed because when I opened it I found the mirror, the little metal button that sticks to the windshield, the adhesive and a crumpled piece of butchers paper all flopping around inside the box. The unpackaged mirror doesn’t even have a piece of plastic film on it to protect it. Perhaps the nasty fingerprints all over it were supposed to protect it. There was no damage, but whomever packed this kit up should have a little more pride in their product and respect for their customers and pack this thing like they care. If the package hadn’t been tightly sealed, that little metal button would have been long gone. Would it be so hard to insert that little button into a CLEAN mirror and secure it with tape and at least wrap the mirror in the butchers paper? All ended well as the mirror was undamaged, is Made in America quality and worked out perfectly. I just expected better packaging and a clean mirror. It's a five star mirror, but I took one away because of the disgusting fingerprints and because it isn't truly a Rugged Ridge mirror.

Stock?
Seems like this the factory mirror. Everything was exactly the same down to the markings on the back as the factory mirror on my Jeep JK. Easy install too.

Fits 2006 Grand Cherokee
Fit onto the existing windshield piece on a 2006 Grand Cherokee, so there was no need to epoxy. Slots right on.

Easy to change and great price. FYI - I didn’t use the glue/attachment part that came with it. Used what was already attached to the car/window and just replaced the mirror part.

I was able to put it right over my old piece.

Easy to install and works great. I bought it to replace my current one which has started to rust. Took two minutes to put in and has been sturdy with no issues (own Jeep Rubicon)
