Great product.. fairly easy to setup in Kali Linux.. supports both monitor and packet injection mode. Product was genuine and can be validated on Alfa network' s website.. I went for this product which is a bit older version but they sent me newer version which supports type-C connector

Can't complain about this product. Perfectly work with any Linux distributions. If you are looking for a product which support pecket injection, monitor mode, wifi hacking, go for it 🙂🙂.

I have this device with me from 11 months now and, to be honest it is reliable and really good. But due to its incapability of adding virtual interface, it becomes useless in certain situations and would need additional hardware. Other than that it pretty good at what it does. It uses RTL8812AU driver, which in future might not support Monitor Mode. Do your own research and if your work needs, this mode I suggest to go with Meditek drivers.

It is working nicely as described. It is detected in Kali used in virtual box as external wifi adaptor (wlan0) after few minor settings. Just go for it.

Perfect device. Yes it supports both packet injection and monitor mode. Search "alfa awus036ach techsci city" on youtube and see how you can install this to your kali system. Thank me later.

Product stopped working in 2 months!!. No light. Not detected by Kali Linux.

I purchased this wifi adapter as part of my security training. I was impressed with the range of the adapter, which was able to pick up even the weakest signals from down the road. Initially, I was worried that the adapter would not be plug-and-play or that the drivers would not be available for Kali Linux and my daily driver Linux system. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the adapter was easy to use and installed quickly. The adapter is sleek and doesn't stand out, even the LED only blinks when it's being used. The clip-on feature is also a nice bonus. One of the best features of this adapter is that it is able to enter monitor mode. This was perfect for what I needed it for, as I was able to use the adapter to scan for nearby networks and collect data. Overall, I am very happy with this wifi adaptor. It is easy to use, has a long range, and is able to enter monitor mode. I would definitely recommend this adaptor to anyone looking for a high-quality wifi adaptor.

works well with kali 2022.4, but drivers will most likely become an issue in future releases for this realtek chipset

Prodotto perfetto e funzionale. Chi ne parla male per il funzionamento su Kali e altre distro (riguardo monitor mode e packet injection),è solo perchè neanche sa usarlo o non gli hanno insegnato che queste distribuzioni Linux non sono come Windows,dove tutto è "bello e pronto"...Tuttavia per ovviare a questo "inconveniente" (che ripeto è una cosa normalissima su distribuzioni Linux,specialmente quelle per cybersecurity),basta fare una semplice ricerca su internet per i driver specifici inserendo il vostro modello di Alfa Network. Ricordate sempre di aggiornare prima la vostra distribuzione,e poi di scaricare i driver del vostro Awus (sempre da terminale!),e state pur certi che funzionerà. A parer mio è senz'altro il miglior dispositivo per pentesting in commercio,ha un ampio raggio di connessione con un'ottima stabilità generale e supporta sia reti a 2.4 e 5 Ghz,cosa volete di più?
