We ordered these stools to replace some that were very unstable. These arrived quickly. The directions said to have two people assemble...although I could have done it alone, it definitely helped having my spouse assist (plus a great bonding experience! LOL!) The assembly was very easily done. The stools are very comfortable and most of all very sturdy. They look great.We only had one minor issue...one of the bottom cross pieces had a small bubble in the finish. It is not real noticeable but I'm a bit concerned with feet going across it that it might start to chip. I contacted Amazon and was told I could return for replacement as they could not send just the one small piece. They did offer a partial refund which I accepted rather than having to go through the hassles of returning for such a small blemish. I wish there was some avenue for just getting the single piece replaced.

Very comfortable, sturdy and easy to assemble!

I loved that right out of the box, you could smell the wood frame inside. The seats have remained comfortable and beautiful even a year later. They are also very stable!

Love the chairs. They are comfortable and the perfect height for my bar. They only negative…they are ruining the finish on my hardwood floors where they scrape whenever you push them in and out to use them. They would be much better on a tile floor.

Good quality counter height chair, very comfortable to sit on and easy assembly, extremely happy with these.

Certainly recommend these chairs as they come from a reputable brand that has the test of time. These chairs assemble very easily and they are sturdy, even with my kiddos on and off of them daily.Great product that is a good price for the quality and the comfort. Sitting in these chairs is quite comfortable so I would recommend to anyone searching.I priced these out and compared them to other options before buying them and I am very happy I went with these.

I took a chance on these. They had a modern look to them that I thought could work. I was slightly uncertain about getting an Amazon return package that had been repackaged but I went for it (saved me $70). I was also a little unsure how comfortable these would be on my back and hip (I’m trapped in an old lady’s body at 40). In the midst of a move and serious back pain, I assembled one and thought no way is this going to work. This can’t be comfortable. To my pleasant surprise they are. They’re by far more comfortable than they appear to be and I’m happy I took a chance on them. They were super easy to assemble (10 minutes or less for both) despite not having any instructions in the box. I’d recommend these to anyone looking for a stylish yet comfortable bar stool (disclaimer: I only gave 4 stars on comfort because of my own personal comfort level. They’d be a full 5 stars if they had just a tad more padding)

First of all I should say that this chair is absolutely beautiful. The but...I got a chair that had been previously manipulated. Someone had tried to put the chair together before me. Why do I say that - because I could see that the nuts and bolts had been put together by the directions. I thought that was curious, but I just kept putting my chair together. Then i put the base down and the one leg on which only had a red button at the top. So once I put the seat and the back on to the upper base and put the whole thing together I noticed I could not adjust the seat up or down. I could not figure out what went wrong. I followed the details to the tee. Nothing out of the ordinary to do. I am short and weigh average and I was able to put it together. It still would not work. Amazon sent me a new chair and I looked carefully at the packaging this time. The nuts and bolts had not been put together, I had to do that. And then I noticed something that I had not seen before - on the base leg at the top was a black knob that said "take me off", I did and it exposed the red button. I said to myself there wasn't a black knob on the other one. I put my new chair together and it worked perfectly. So now It was time for me to take the old chair apart. Easy as pie, but I noticed that that black knob had been stuck in the shoot of the upper leg. Someone had tried to put this chair together and messed up sent it back. Please do not send this chair back out. Please. I pray amazon reads this and does not put this review out, but sends this review to the manufacturer or the company it came from. If you get an original chair it will work beautifully and will compliment a home with elegance. The chair should get five stars but because I was sent a chair that was not inspected and sent back as a defect that is why it receives one star.
