The Original 18" Grate Teak Shower Bench

Beautiful wood, perfect size, exactly what I was needing and looking for!

Solid piece, SUPER well packaged. This seller knows what they’re doing. You won’t lose parts, they’re in a box taped on all sides that is then tethered to the shipping box lolEasy to assemble even in dim lighting-dusk out and I hadn’t turned on the lights.Instructions were spot on. Each piece is wrapped in extra heavy brown paper so no friction rubs although it was so tightly packed I did have a few places where the paper was stuck in the wood. A bit of water and a rub will clean that off.Only comment I would add is the holes of the seat would be much improved if rounded over. I knew this when I bought it so I accepted it. Just a thought on improvement of comfort when used to sit.

Let me start by saying I LOVE the bench! But what's more impressive is their level of customer service. There was a mishap with the shipping (completely a Fedex problem) They were easily reached by phone and resolved the issue quickly. Both Shawn and Brandon were friendly, reasonable, and genuinely concerned about their consumer not receiving the product. This is both rare and comforting to know that there are still companies that care about and support their customers!And the product is top quality. I've seen benches that don't have anywhere near the fit and finish of this bench for twice the price. I feel lucky to have found a vender that supplies such a quality product. I'm currently shopping with them again!

I purchased this teak stool for the purpose of putting it in my Mom's bathtub shower stall. She is older and sometimes loses her balance and wanted something to sit on in the bathtub/shower. She also didn't want a "medical" or "hospital" looking stool so I thought this was a good compromise. We have a pretty standard size tub (17" wide) and this stool fits in it with no problem. It also has rubber feet on it so it won't scratch anything.This is a very solid piece of furniture. I'm very confident letting my Mom sit on it (and I like it as well - very decadent, spa feel when you're using it). Because of the way the legs are structured, there is no danger of it tipping over either. The stool comes in four pieces - the stool top, two legs and the crossbar for the legs. It wasn't too bad to put together. You have to be careful because the legs will only go on one way in order for the screw holes to line up. The screws are screwed in using an Allen wrench (the wrench is included but I used my own Allen wrench set because I have better ones than the one that was included).I've had teak furniture in the bathroom before (a teak bath mat and a teak chair) so I can definitely speak to the fact that teak weathers water and humidity well. Sometimes it will turn grey over a period of years of use (it's supposed to do that) and sometimes it doesn't. I had the teak bathmat and chair for three years and they never changed from their original dark color.Overall, I think this is really the best teak chair out there and worth the money I paid for it. I've seen other ones that are fold-up types and such but this one is really excellent quality.

I just remodeled my bathroom and have a lovely soaking tub. I bought this to set by my tub to hold bath salts and candles. Love it.

This is a very good product at a very reasonable price. It was easy to assemble although the assembly instructions could have been a bit more clear. (Mind the dot alignment and distinguish between the different hardware lengths.) Very satisfied with seller as the benches (purchased 2 based on Amazon customer recommendations) arrived several days earlier than expected and were very well packaged.Overall, very satisfied with product

I've only had this for a couple days now, but this appears to be a durable, solid piece and will serve its purpose as a shower seat. However, I'm giving three stars since assembly was somewhat annoying and the grate pattern is actually pretty uncomfortable to sit on.Criticisms:- Assembly was a little more trouble than I expected…some of the the screw holes were pretty tight and really required serious elbow grease to get the screws down. This was made more difficult by the fact that the screws were Socket/Allen head screws and I had to use a tiny hex wrench…not my favorite.- Instruction manual was OK, but not exactly accurate. You really need to assemble the legs and cross bars first, THEN attach the seat. I don't think it would be possible to put it together the way it suggests in the manual. It's not rocket science or anything, but there are dowel-type pieces that would not fit if assembled per the manual.- The grate design on the seat is not very comfortable to sit on. I didn't check in the mirror or anything, but I might have had a grate pattern imprinted on my bum after sitting on it in the shower!Overall, decent seat for a decent price. I didn't want to shell out $150-$200 for this purpose, so this one will do!

Once assembled this stool is really strong and good looking. Poor design means assembly takes forever using an Allen key turning 10 degrees at a time. Needs patience and determination but is worth the effort.

Bought this for our bathroom, very happy with it.

Looks great, perfect for my oversized shower cubicle. Not a particularly easy task to put together with screws going in at an angle and sadly Allen key provided didn’t fit. So be ready to be patient when assembling.
