how is the quality of the disk? does it run smoothly? I really need to know before i buy it.

Sorry I was on vacation. From my experience I enjoyed the Story Mode the fighting is smooth. the 2 on 2 or climbing the ladder well depends on who you ask. I found that with 3D motion is a little awkward at times with some characters, but that's just me. I still liked the way mortal kombat trilogy played in 2D. I hoped this helped. good gaming.
