Clarks Women's Jolissa Lapis Knee-High Boot

I shopped for many Clarks boots in black and brown that have both comfort and style. I decided to exchange the Mojita boot for this boot because of the Ortholite footbed. My calves are slender but shapely and these boots are perfect to wear by themselves with tights or leggings yet wide enough to tuck inside jeans. They are dressy enough for work and comfortable too. I walked around the airport with them. I am 56 years old and have some bunions on my feet so the fact I could wear them so long should attest to their comfort. The style, color, and smell of leather is awesome. The only reason I am giving them four stars is that they are slightly baggy in the ankle. However, I have had narrow feet/ankles/calves all of my life and rarely find a perfect fit. I also have the Tamryn leaf boot in black. Love Clarks shoes/boots!!!

I have been looking for an outstandingly stylish burgundy/wine REAL leather boot for some time and had all but given up until I happened upon this boot and just had to have them!!! When they arrived, I opened the box and stared at them for a while because I couldn't believe how gorgeous they are in person.... the deep rich color/tones, the soft supple feel, and the woodsy smell of the leather! I fell in love with them! That is until (dun dun duuuuun) until I tried them on. Oh the 💔💔💔! The ankles are so extremely baggy and the top circumference is 16.75 inches!!! Because my calves are just slightly smaller than average, I PURPOSELY made sure I did not order wide calf in this boot. The footbed is so extra extra comfortable tjat I'm sure I can wear them all day long, but the ankle area & opening I'm not gonna be able to work with. I will be returning these for an exchange and pray it's just that this pair is irregular.

Clark's, an excellent shoe maker knocks it out of the park with these boots! First let's talk about the color. Deep burgundy, with a darker area at the toe. Beautiful. Secondly, the material. The leather is thick yet supple. Thirdly, the comfort factor. I could wear these boots every day and walk for miles. And lastly, Amazon Prime sells these boots for a very reasonable price. You won't be disappointed.

These are really well made, beautiful, and comfortable. I just have the same problem I always have with boots, which is the calves always flop around my chicken legs. I wish there were as many narrow calf options as there are wide calf options.

A beautiful boot and fit in the footbed but it was baggy at my ankle and calf. I love Clarks brand but this one didn't work for me. I think I must have a small ankle and calf? My ankle is 8 inches around and my calf is 13.5 inches around.

These boots are very well made, with sturdy good quality leather. Although I'm petite, I have muscular calves. The shaft of the boot fit over my pants, but the leather is so sturdy they weren't very flexible, and the look was not at all attractive. The arch support is in the correct place for my foot shape, but there's a knob in the heel section that makes them less comfortable for wearing all day. They're very well constructed, but after realizing they wouldn't be comfortable enough to wear through a work day I've returned them. Like all Clark shoes I've owned, the shoe portion is perfectly sized. They seem to run true-to-size. The shaft however, is just not the right shape for me.

I just got these and couldn't wait to try them on. I love the fit, I love the heel and the craftsmanship you expect from Clarks...they are so cute. And the calves are not baggy like some boots are. These leather lots are such a great value!

I get so many compliments on these boots. They aren't the kinda color you see in the store. They add color to all black outfits and go great with my burgundy blazer. They hold up super well and wipe clean. I would order these again. I'm a size 9 and ordered a 9 and they fit so well and are super comfortable. I love the leather quality.
