Bye bye vinegar!
This stuff works way way better than vinegar. I have been using vinegar each year but this year something changed and my Navien tankless water heater was making noise all the time. I flushed it twice for over 90 minutes and the vinegar looked a little bit gray but not dirty. The sound persisted and then I went online and did some research. JC was suggested and I'm never going back to vinegar. After 45 minutes the water was filthy! And that was just days after the 2 separate vinegar flushes! Don't hesitate to try this!

Easy DIY That Saves a Ton of Money
This product makes flushing my tankless water heater incredibly easy. What used to seem like a job only a plumber could handle is now a quick DIY project I can take care of myself. The instructions are clear, and once you get set up, the whole process is smooth and hassle-free. The best part? It saves SOOOO much money. A plumber would charge several hundred dollars to do exactly what I can now finish in less than an hour with this descaler. The results are great and my water heater runs like new (and stays that way because I keep up with the maintenance). I know I’m also extending its lifespan and protecting my investment just by doing this once a year. DIY setup I used: - A clean Home Depot/Lowe’s bucket - A small circulation pump (I used the same sump/water cleanup pump I keep for my basement) - Two 6' washing machine hoses for easier reach - The service connections my plumber installed on my tankless unit I connected the pump output to the service valve on the heater, ran the return line back into the bucket, and used a small clamp to keep the hose in place. Once everything was hooked up, I let it circulate with the descaler for an hour (longer if there’s heavier scale, per the directions). All of these extra items are reusable. You just need to buy this descaler annually. Rinse everything afterward, let it dry, and it’s good to go for next year. If you own a tankless water heater, this is a must-have. It’s one of those products that pays for itself after the very first use.

Flush water heater routinely
Important to flush tankless water heater routinely. I do it every 6 months to stay on top of scaling, but perhaps yearly would be sufficient. Not taking any chances. FLOW32 has worked good for me and i can safely recommend it's use. I use subscribe and save as reminder to do it.

Works better than I expected.
I am pretty happy with this stuff, I circulated it for 45 minutes and it brought a lot of stuff out of the coils on my tankless heater. Hard to tell the actual completeness of the cleaning but with the amount of stuff removed it will certainly be a lot better. Mine was not clogged enough to notice any reduction in working and I have only had it installed for shy of 3 years but the mineral content in the water here is very high even after running through 2 carbon filters and a softener.

Top performer for descaling.
It's not completely straightforward since you need a utility pump and hose connectors but you can descale your tankless water heater yourself and this is the product that you should buy to do it. I live in an area with extremely hard water so it's necessary to descale my tankless water heater every year. It's a $4,000 item if you have to replace it and mine is still going strong after 17 years. The performance improvement after descaling is stunning. The water temperature bumps up 10degF even when the 140degF setting is not altered. I used to use 3gal of vinegar on this task but this works much, much better.
