Well made, weights dont come loose while using

The quality is typical of a midrange cast iron dumbbell set. My set didn't have any flaws in casting or chipped paint. I love the contoured grips on the handles. To me, that makes all the difference of this dumbbell set compared to others. The ever so slight curve to the handle really makes holding the dumbbell that much more comfortable with no slippage. The collar spin locks hold the weights very secure. Much more than I thought since I'm not a fan of spin locks especially on dumbbells. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they work. The only thing I didn't like about the set was the extra bar added to connect the two handles together. A great addition to the set, but the threads on the bar don't allow screwing the handles all the way in. This is depicted in the stock photos. No false advertising. It's a great idea, but would have been much better if the handles screwed in all the way in. Still, it's a nice addition but could have been better. Overall, a 5 star product compared to similar weight sets. The curved handles really make a difference and the bonus straight bar option is a nice add.

The only reason I don’t give this a 5 star is because I ordered this and it came in missing 9 of the 19 pieces so I had to return it and they sent me a new that was in much better condition And was much better packed over all now it is a very good product.

I loved them. that 2.5 kg is very heavy. You will have a good workout

Needed to do something about the belly and 'love-handles' that appeared over the past 2 years of lockdown! Was thinking of joining a local gym but... you know how that goes. So, decided to invest in these and build up towards my home gym. They were delivered in sturdy cardboard box which can be used to store them when not in use. But, for me, these will always be out on the floor. Otherwise, out of site, out of mind! I've had concrete-filled, plastic ones before but this time wanted cast iron ones which hopefully won't go rusty over time. The bars are chrome plated whilst the weights are finished in a hammered effect, dark-grey paint. Looks professionally finished and of high quality. Other reviewers commented that the screw-locks loosen during use, but I haven't had that problem. Really like the extension tube which converts the two dumbbells into one barbell. Not sure if I would trust loading the full 20kg with the extension bar, though. As well as bent-over-rows, bench presses and fore-arm curls it's possible to place the bar-bell on the floor, slip your toes under it and knock out a few sit-ups. The different weights are ideal for a beginner. Even the hand-bars alone, without any discs, are a good way to start, adding weights as you progress. I've used these daily for the past week and was ready to buy another set. There's always a 'however'. However, the price went up by £10 right after I got my first set. So, just waiting for the price to drop, or until I find another seller with a similar product and better offer. I will be buying another set, a folding bench, and a Straight / EZ Curl bar-bell, all available from the same manufacturer.

Les haltères de musculation PROIRON sont vraiment très bien. La prise en main est confortable, les matériaux sont solides et la finition inspire confiance. Ils tiennent bien en main et ne glissent pas, même pendant une séance un peu intense. Disponibles en plusieurs poids, ils sont parfaits aussi bien pour un entraînement à domicile que pour compléter un programme en salle. Le design est simple mais efficace, et ils prennent peu de place pour le rangement. En résumé : des haltères robustes, pratiques et fiables, idéals pour progresser en musculation.
