Mane 'n Tail: Herbal Gro Shampoo + Conditioner (12 oz Each), Olive Oil Complex That Helps Strengthens & Nourishes Hair

I'm giving this all star rating because I'm pleased with the quality!! At first judging from the bottle I wouldn't believe that this shampoo would work wonders like others and friends that I knew said it would, so I had to try it myself out and I love it! The smell of the shampoo is very nice, like a lavender scent to it it is a soothing scent and I enjoy it :) I am also pleased with the conditioner smell like aloe :) when I used it, the shampoo took some time to make the lather soapy bubble effect so after that first wash I had to wash a second time to make sure it works well and the second time it was much faster to make the bubble type of effect anyone would want on their hair, when I also used this product I followed other hair stylist advise, which is when you wash your hair, wash it with cold water since it is much healthier to wash it that way then hot water, the cold water retains your natural hair oils and doesn't strip them off as hot water does, so when I rinsed I used cold water. After that I followed up with the conditioner starting from the ends to the roots since I have short hair, I left the conditioner on for about 5 minutes in order for it to kinda do its job on my hair and afterwords I rinsed again with cold water. The shampoo and conditioner certainly left my hair smelling terrific! :D I normally don't blow dry my hair so in order to see if they did their job I didn't blow dry my hair at all, after a couple of few hours my hair was dry, smelling awesome! Little frizz but overall sooo silky and soft! I just loved the softness and silkiness of my hair!! The next time I shampooed/ washed my hair was about a week later (I don't wash my hair too often since it's also not healthy for hair) I did the same thing wash, repeat, rinse and condition all with cold water, in order to manage the little frizz that my hair would experience after it was dry I did one thing, I applied some "Cantu shea butter Leave-In Conditioning repair cream" just a little smear of that at the roots and ends of my hair fixed all my problems once my hair was dry :D best results from a shampoo that I would never expect from! Definitely buying this product again, I wish this one came in bigger bottles because it is quite average size. For Delivery was horrible!!! My package came like 3 weeks late!! The shipper did notify me that it would be late but man that's about all my problems.

After going through intense radiation therapy nothing was working until I started using this amazing product. My hair fall reduced almost instantly, it looks a lot fuller and healthier. I would recommend it 100 percent

I’ve been bleaching and dying my hair different colors for over a year or so, I decided I want to embrace my natural hair color and texture, aswell as grow out my hair far longer, I used mane and tail a few years ago and liked it so I figured I’d give it another go, it’s worked WONDERS on my thick very damaged wavy/curly hair already after only one wash, I paired it along with some shea moisture leave in conditioner, and some shes moisture curl enhancing smoothie, and when I tell you guys my hair has never been softer (and I know it’s not the other products because I’ve used both with other shampoos before) I mean it. My hair looks so soft and wavy today and I didn’t have to scrunch it to hold for 30 minutes, it feels soft and manageable! The smell is super pleasant, definitely a fresh smell. I highly recommend this product, there is no scientifically proven way to help hair grow faster, but this definitely helps to heal your hair and prevent breakage to keep your length!

I have dyed my hair a lot and it’s a bit damaged/brittle as a result. My scalp is also dry so my hair gets flaky at times. I’ve been trying different brands to help with the above-mentioned issues without success…until now! My hair is SUPER SOFT and shiny! I’m obsessed after just one wash!! My search for the perfect shampoo ended today.

Okay. I'm an African American college student. When I could no longer afford my expensive shampoo and conditioner I turned my eyes to Mane n' Tail Herbal Gro. I heard my Caucasian girlfriends tell me about it and thought, Mmm only works for their hair types. But I was broke and needed to cut back. So I bought it. It is amazing! Does well on my 4C kinky damaged hair. I never relaxed nor permed my hair. But I've dyed it once for the first time in my dorm and I have heat damage from excess usage of heating tools. But it does justice and caused my hair to grow so far a inch. My hair is now 13-14 inches long and the new growth is healthy. I recommend for all hair types. Not sure for permed gals out there. The shampoo I'm sure has sulfates but isn't as harsh as I imagined. It smells wonderful and has the seafoam green color. It really does clean. Since I have so much thick hair and it drinks up whatever I put in it. I use quite a bit but it lathers up nicely. You can tell you're hair is cleaned after being shampooed twice (I shampoo twice because of product build). The conditioner is lovely. Not as great as my expensive one but does the job and I detangle easily with enough product. If you want more conditioning power add like a tablespoon of your favorite oil. I'm sure at Walmart and Target it is cheaper. But for the price and the results you get 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Will be buying more!

I love this shampoo and conditioner. A little goes a long way and it makes my hair feel soft.. I tend to need more conditioner than shampoo for my hair, so I do wish there was an option of buying each item separately as well.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner because it’s one of the select few on the market that is not owned by a mega corporation who are each and everyone being (or have been) sued for chemicals in their products that cause hair loss. Also skin conditions and even cancer. I don’t know about you but I kinda feel like those are pretty negative side effects. This company is still family owned and uses ingredients that are safe for your hair without all the extra bs. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Leaving my hair squeaky clean. I was even more surprised when after a few weeks I noticed my widow’s peak on my hairline growing back in. I hadn’t even realized it was gone! I almost feel bad for the people who bring up shampoo products in my vicinity because I immediately rush over and shove my forehead right up in their face to show them how I have hair growing back! Switching to Mane & Tail and away from all those toxic shampoos is actually reversing some of the damage decades of use has done to my poor head. My husband started using it as well after seeing my results and while he has always used dandruff shampoo (even some very pricey one prescribed by a dermatologist) for his itchy scalp now he only uses the Mane & Tail shampoo and his itchy scalp is mostly gone. In less than a month. I can’t recommend this product enough and I am very appreciative that we have this available at such a great price.

I have long, thick, naturally dry hair with a mix of 2b and 2c waves, and I was really hopeful about the Mane 'n Tail Herbal Gro Shampoo and Conditioner. It definitely delivers on softness and shine once my hair is dry, and the scent—oddly reminiscent of a car wash—is surprisingly enjoyable and refreshing. However, brushing my hair while it’s wet has become nearly impossible. Even after using the conditioner, my hair tangles badly and feels rough to the touch unless I use a separate detangler. For someone with dry, wavy hair like mine, that’s a big issue. If you have hair that’s easier to manage or don’t mind using an extra product, this might still work well for you. But for me, the struggle with wet detangling knocks it down to 3 stars.
