MONTBLANC Individual Eau de Toilette

I would like to speak about the comparison between Mont Blanc Individuel and Original Santal. I am a huge fan of Original Santal. It's just a wonderful fragrance. I like Mont Blanc Individuel as well! However, these are two separate fragrances, and I would not recommend Mont Blanc Individuel as a "replacement" for Original Santal at all. Likewise, Mont Blanc Individuel also serves its purpose. The opening of Mont Blanc Individuel smells exactly like Original Santal after Original Santal has dried down for about 3 minutes. There's no doubt about it. Sure, the Creed smells more fresh and natural, but unless you are VERY familiar with Original Santal, you would not be able to tell the difference. This smell stays similar to Original Santal for about an hour. Then things start to change. Mont Blanc Individuel changes drastically from smelling like Original Santal to smelling like laundry fresh out of the dryer. Is that bad? Absolutely not! But Original Santal has an intoxicating smell that has more to it than the "dryer sheet" smell. Individuel, after about an hour, is pure dryer sheets. Original Santal has more spice. I would even say that after three hours of wearing Mont Blanc Individuel, you can't even compare the two fragrances. If I didn't smell Individuel's opening, I wouldn't have even thought the two fragrances were even remotely similar. I'm not just repeating other people's comparisons of dryer sheets -- no, this really smells like dryer sheets! Like I said, that's not a bad thing. This is an excellent, fresh smelling fragrance. The best part of fragrance is in its first hour. I would also say that Mont Blanc Individuel is more masculine and Original Santal is more unisex. I would love to smell Original Santal on a woman. Unfortunately, my girlfriend doesn't like to wear it. Don't go believing all these people who say a certain fragrance smells exactly like another. They don't. They may share some similarities, but the DNA is totally different from fragrance to fragrance. My advice to anyone considering one of these two fragrances is this: If you are looking for a blind buy, and price is not an issue, go with Original Santal. If you have the opportunity to test Mont Blanc Individuel, go for it. If you find you love the opening a lot more than the drydown, go with Original Santal. The entire drydown of Original Santal is the opening of Mont Blanc Individuel. If you are strapped for cash and just want to smell good, go with Individuel. If you have Original Santal, I do recommend buying Mont Blanc Individuel, because it is a different fragrance, contrary to what others will tell you. Mont Blanc Individuel is a great fragrance on its own. It does not replace Original Santal by any means, but the two fragrances are different. Original Santal is a masterpiece for Creed. Mont Blanc Individuel is very close to being a designer masterpiece on its own. The longevity is outstanding. It projects well without being offensive. And to top it all off, it just smells fresh! I tried the Mont Blanc perfume , and it has quickly become one of my favorites. The fragrance is beautifully balanced, offering a perfect blend of sophistication and freshness. If you search around online for inexpensive, versatile fragrances, you're sure to come across Mont Blanc Individuel. When describing the scent, every review compares it to Creed' s Original Santal - which is around $250 for a bottle this size. I've never smelled Creed' s fragrance, so I took a leap of faith and bought this without having an idea of what to expect. I typically ware fresh aquatic type scents. So to me this was a little bit more "perfumey" then what I'm used to, but that's not a bad thing. Once it settles into the dry down, it's kind of a similar smell to dryer sheets - fresh, clean, bright, airy, with some hints of floral. That may sound a little weird, but it's really inviting and pleasant. It still manages to be masculine, modern, and sophisticated. It lasts close to 8 hours for me, and has moderate projection. So this performs really well. Since its very fresh and clean, this can really be used for any occasion, or season. Because of its sophisticated feel, this could even work for formal occasions. Wherever you ware it, you're bound to get a ton of compliments.

This cologne was acceptable, as I am somewhat picky about my cologne and aftershave fragrances. My wife likes it, too—it is not too faint or too brash.

Amo todo lo que sea perfume

As many have described before, this scent is a fabric softener with a touch of raspberry. It is a definite people pleaser. You will not find anyone who finds this scent offensive. I really only perceive the raspberry note (faintly) when I spray it on clothes. It is undetectable to my nose when sprayed on my skin. In terms of performance, it is decent but not nearly the strength it was rumored to be in regards to silage and projection. I spray much more than usual to try to project a bit more (4 sprays). It projects for around 1-2 hrs though no more than arms length from me. After that, it gets much closer to the skin. However it stays close to the skin but not quite a skin scent for a very long time (another 6hrs). Then skin scent for another several hours. So in total, it lasts for over 10hrs. I’ve heard fragrance reviewers say that although they aren’t particularly keen on the smell, they continue to wear it because it’s a compliment getter. I could see this being true. Though, no compliments thus far (though I really never get compliments on fragrances).

If you read this, you undoubtedly know that any description of a fragrance is highly subjective, and that peoples’ skins differ in response to any given fragrance. Superlatives escape me as I try to write about this fragrance. On application the first note I smell is a sweet pineapple, which gives way to floral notes, then it slips almost unnoticed into the usual woody base notes. It usually lasts 6-8 hours on my skin, and I enjoy the scent no matter where it happens to be during its life cycle. Mont Blanc Individuel has been on the market since 2003, so I guess I’m not the only one who likes it! There is one regret about my having purchased this fragrance: I regret that I did not know about it sooner. I can recommend Mont Blanc Individuel to anyone who is new to fragrances and may not necessarily know where to start. It is priced so that almost anyone can “afford” to buy it; I got mine for less than $30 from Amazon.

This product has a alluring, sweet and fresh aroma; it's just as good as I remember! Both of the products I've used from Mont Blanc - the other one was Emblem - have been fantastic, love it!

La descubrí en 2007 y desde entonces no dejo de ponérmela. La uso a diario porque me parece una fragancia masculina muy fresca y agradable, para nada empalagosa, y se mantiene bastante tiempo en la piel y ropa. 10 para Amazon porque llegó un momento en que no la encontraba y, de repente, la vendían a través de otro vendedor, y a un precio excepcional. Uso también la Montblanc Legend Intense y, aún siendo muy buena, desde mi punto de vista no llega a la excelencia de la Individuel.

Un must-have per chi vuole iniziare a farsi una collezione di profumi buoni per tutte le occasioni. La confezione racchiude un flacone largo e sottile, semplice e senza fronzoli, con placca superiore e tappo metallizzato, sulla cui calotta è presente l'iconico fiore bianco del marchio Montblanc (che in genere siamo abituati a vedere su penne di qualità eccellente). Insomma, un flacone ok anche se un po' anonimo...ma sinceramente il design dei flaconi è l'ultima cosa che guardo: l'importante è ciò che contengono, no? Non sono molto bravo a descrivere i profumi, tuttavia ci proverò ugualmente. In genere le fragranze su questa fascia di prezzo (35€) risultano sempre un po' sintetiche, ma stavolta sono stato felicissimo di constatare che non è affatto il caso di questo Montblanc. In un primo momento esce fuori il carattere legnoso e "da uomo", ma subito dopo arriva il fresco e lo speziato. Con l'affievolirsi della fragranza vi lascia addosso un piacevolissimo odore di pulito e di freschezza: come essere appena usciti dalla doccia ed essersi spruzzati addosso un deodorante particolarmente potente e buono. È un eau de toilette, tuttavia ha ottime prestazioni e questo è un vero e proprio miracolo per l'esborso di 35€! Non ha un odore che vi trapana le narici, tuttavia si sente bene e stupisce per persistenza. Addirittura lo trovo persistente quanto il Paco Robanne Phantom (eau de toilette) che mi metto di solito e che costa molto molto di più... e scusate se è poco! Anche la scia che lascerete (sebbene questo dipenda tanto anche dalla vostra pelle) sarà evidente e piacevole, sebbene non troppo invadente. Si presta ancora meglio in estate (dato che il calore aiuta a tirare fuori la fragranza), ma anche d'inverno non va affatto male. Oltretutto si adatta a tutte le occasioni. Concludendo, il Montblanc Individuel è un profumo che, sebbene possa sembrare un po' di nicchia, ha buone prestazioni e si adatta ad ogni occasione. È un factotum che risulta sempre molto piacevole e il cui costo contenuto può aiutarvi a preservare i profumi più costosi della vostra collezione. Compratelo ad occhi chiusi!

Uff, Buen aroma, duradero y excelente precio

This thing is the bomb. I am not a massive fragrance connoisseur, although I am interested in them and this one seems quite unique. It has this nice raspberry smell to it. I have heard this is similar to another much more expensive fragrance but I have never smelt it before so I can't comment on that. From the bottle I got, the fragrance seems to last about 4 hours, but maybe I am just not spraying enough for what it needs. But for me, I like smelling it and knowing I smell nice is enough for me
