Well, the back is flat and about 3 inches down from the top is a small recess so you just put a screw into the wall and hook it on. Just like hanging a picture I suppose.

Is this suitable for an exterior wall (stone brick)?

Hi i have just read that this can be put outside so elements do not seem a problem , we have hung ours indoors. It is a beautiful and relaxing item and looks lovely. It would be OK on your stome brick wall. x

The diameter of this item is 39cm, slightly under 15 1/2inches. Hope this helps.

Can l use a large picture/mirror hook to hang it on an indoor wall?

Yes I would say you can, but check that the inner wall is solid and not a partition wall.. I hug mine on a outside solid wall using a screw as a hook..
